I feel I completely wasted my money, even buying it used. When they don't let you look inside a decorating book, it's probably a dead giveaway that you wouldn't buy it if you could see what's in there. Might be of interest to students of interior design for historical info, but really not very good for someone looking for inspiration. Don't be fooled by the cover of this book.
This book is thick, heavy and colorful of about 350 pages. Most of the photos were taken in the past few years by Richard Powers, a renowned photographer, so the images are fresh. For those who are fascinated by the evolution of design, you may be fascinated by this intriguing volume.
