RJ Roles grew up in the mountains of West Virginia. His love for horror and all things macabre was instilled in him at a young age as was reading when he discovered the Goosebumps series. He currently works as a private security guard when he’s not trying to peck out stories on the computer. He spends the majority of his time at home with his wife Jessica and their spoiled-rotten cats.

For a young Scott Harper growing up in 1970’s Southern California, the world was just a tad dull and unimaginative. He found a creative outlet in the world of Marvel Comics, fervidly devouring the monthly adventures of Iron Man, Hulk, and Captain America. Later, his tastes turned toward the Marvel black and white magazines’ more esoteric horror province, faithfully following titles such as Dracula Lives! and Tales of the Zombie. Influenced by these works and such great authors as Bram Stoker, John Steakley, and Marv Wolfman, Scott’s unique writing style combines horror and fantasy elements with superhero-style action. When not writing, Scott spends his time either reading, working out at the gym, adding to his model collection, or walking his two dogs. He lives in California with his wife and son.

He is an active member of the Horror Writers Association, the Alliance of Independent Authors, and the Community of Literary Magazines and Presses. His short story, “Lucy,” was featured in the 2021 Splatterpunk Award–nominated anthology If I Die Before I Wake Volume 3 – Tales of Deadly Women and Retribution.
R.E. lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife and their Chocolate Lab. And the rain. Lots and lots of rain. He is thankful that writing is an indoor activity.

Once an operating room registered nurse, Bridgett Nelson so enjoyed playing with human organs, she decided to turn her macabre interest into a horror writing career. She loves bubble baths (because nothing says spooooky writer like orange-scented bubbles), hates not knowing what’s swimming in the water with her, lives for Halloween season (but loathes chainsaw-wielding dudes in haunted houses), adores her West Virginia University Mountaineers, is very pro-Oxford comma, and thinks bananas are absolutely disgusting.
Bridgett has contributed to multiple anthologies, including COUNTING BODIES LIKE SHEEP, edited by K Trap Jones. Her debut collection, A BOUQUET OF VISCERA, is available now!
More tidbits! Bridgett is a(n)…
HWA: WV Chapter co-chair. Editor. Audiobook proofer. Bookworm. Dog lover. Tarantula whisperer. Bra avoider. ENJF. Amaretto Sour obsessor.

Renee M.P.T. Kray grew up in Michigan with eight siblings and a small army of cats. Her love of reading and writing went into maximum overdrive when she read The Lord of the Rings at age 10 and since then she’s spent her time obsessively scribbling story ideas into notebooks. After being homeschooled all through elementary and high school, she earned her BA in Literature from Ave Maria University and her MFA in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University. She has self-published two collections of short stories: Think Again: A Captivating Compendium and Restless: A Year of Ghost Stories. However, none of these pursuits have been as challenging as trying to get her pug, Potato, to stop eating dirt.

My review:
OK..So I am a major fan of these works. And now they are all available TOGETHER.....As one package. Awesome!
I happen to love old school horror and have been a fan of the series from the beginning. I am delighted they're all available in a package now. Happy Holidays!
The stories are great and if you have not read the yet..you should. I say this specifically for people who are fans of Old school horror. The stories are all so varied and different that I am sure each person will have their favorites. All of them are compelling and well written though.
Just found out today they're now available together. Maybe I will treat myself to a Holiday gift!
If you are looking to expand your list of favorite authors, this is a fabulous way to sample a number of the best. If you are looking for something to keep you up late into the night because you just can't put it down (and you are no longer quite sure what the sound out in the darkness was) this collection is for you!
Always original and expertly edited, you’re sure to find a fresh author that touches your shiver-bone or a story that sticks with you long after you’ve finished reading! Just when I think, “Oh...that one was my favorite,” the next tale is just as amazing!
Looking forward to future editions and much more from these fine authors.
I have reviewed, and loved, all three volumes but why choose just one?
Now bundled together for one price, I know what I am getting all of my horror Aficionados friends for Christmas!
That was easy!
What a great gift idea for the thriller/horror lover in your life.
The writing and editing are great and the themes are fun; who doesn't love a great revenge story or my personal fave, the stories about women scorned...so good and so much fun!
