The accompanying images tell a more complete picture. I hope they will provide a correction and update of this text or the configuration settings for this text associated with the Kindle reader.
It has to be said, however, that this version, convenient as it undoubtedly is, is not as good as the Perseus text which can be downloaded for free along with all the other Perseus texts (all 1116 of them!) from the LOGOS BIBLE SOFTWARE site. If you buy the abridged Liddle & Scott Lexicon for approx. $35 from LOGOS, you will have a very convenient way of viewing the Greek text of the Iliad and the Odyssey with lexical help, i.e. dictionary meaning and parsing clearly and instantly displayed on the same page. It is now much the best way of reading the text.

What should have been more carefully planned was the artwork, the choice of typeface, the spacing which may at times seem difficult to read. This book could be a winner if only those responsible for its transposition to kindle content had worked on it with greater thought.
