Not the best British show, but worth watching
Most US TV series cannot hold a candle to any British series. We have been watching British crime series for years, some dating as far back as the 80s. We are scraping the bottom for anything. While this series is not as good as shows like Cloth, Shetland, Bergerac, etc. it is still well worth watching.

Don't listen to the over critical reviews, no reason for it!!
The 4 episodes were good, but the episode about the prostitute and her kid left me wanting closure. Stories were different and they made sense. I'm glad I gave it a chance. The two main characters were spot on. They were opposites, he was passionate, impulsive, rushed in and lead with his heart. She was composed, steady, reasoning and normally wise. Working together they were perfect.
* Actually they were the real story not the cases. Another way to look at love.

is it the writing or acting?
I'm not sure which it is but its just bad. Nothing makes sense and none of the characters are believable.
