This Ninja is the best and the story deserves ten stars. The illustrations are bright and engrossing. Once upon a time in a land not very far away, there was a large group of Ninjas playing with a hearing aide. It was Inclusive Ninja's and it was Diversity Ninja who got it back. Diversity Ninja started helping people using his compassion. He saw a ninja speaking a different language and others making fun of him. How do you think he used his compassion to help? You get the absolutely exciting fun of reading/listening to find out. Yipee!!

Wow! Just wow. This is a great book that highlights a simple way for my kids to recognize how to build their compassion so that they can recognize when bullying is happening or when someone is feeling left out.

I don’t care about straight As as much as how they treat other people. That is how people will remember you. They may not remember what you said or did but they will always remember how you made them feel.

As with Mary Nhin’s other Ninja books, the colorful, bold illustrations add to the message of inclusion and compassion. “Inclusion” is a little harder word, I think, for young readers but it’s explained well in the book. The only set back with these books is that the print shows up very small on my iPad and I haven’t seen a hard copy to see if it’s the same.
