"Instant Credibility Online" is broken into three very informative sections.
• Essential indicators
• Expert indicators
• Influencer indicators
Each section provides valuable information; from fundamental best practices through to gaining influencer status. Each chapter is easily understood and can be put into action immediately. By reading this book, I have been able to implement techniques outlined in the book directly into my website, which I am 100% sure will help my new business gain the credibility and authenticity it requires.
If you haven't already clicked "buy," here's more: Instant Credibility Online is a quick read, which is good: If you're the book's target audience, you have about a bajillion other things you need to do and so to-the-point info is what you need. The book is organized in three sections: foundations, intermediate and advanced tactics to ensure visitors to your website trust you.
The book is written in easy to understand, conversational language so it feels as if you're having a conversation with the author. You can read this book in one setting, but I actually don't recommend that. Read one section, then DO what the author recommends so your website conveys professionalism and trustworthiness. If you want your business to thrive online, you'll need to not only learn the concepts in this book but take action. The first action: Buy the book. :)
When you first open up the book, you’ll notice that it’s got a few sections in regard to credibility indicators that will get you noticed by your ideal clients:
1. Essential Indicators: These are things every business’s website should have (but not all do!)
2. Expert Indicators: These indicators help to prove that you are an expert in your given field
3. Influencer Indicators: These indicators are ones that every business strives to achieve, but not all do.

Some of the tips are common sense and straight forward, yet, I have seen so many people still miss out on them. It’s good to have a reality check and know where you are at in the journey of this credibility checklist.
I would think of this as a score. How well are you doing on the credibility meter?
My favorite chapters were “As Seen On” and “Guest Blogging”. Sometimes we know what we need to do but we don’t know “how”. In those sections, there were a few interesting tips that I wasn’t aware of before, such as signing up with “Help a Reporter Out”.
