I can see our gov't doing these things - and at the very end of the book.... O M G! when you realize where the "antenna" came from..... These are the kind of books I live to read! Cant put it down, sneaking pages while at work! (bad I know!) Awesome author!!! I cant wait for more books - I do often wonder tho… what kind of mind comes up with these stories? Never mind...I don't want to know!!! :o) Thanks TJ Payne! (PS - thank you TJ for NOT including any political opinions. That has soured several books/authors for me, glad you are not one of them!)
Note: There is some teenage cursing, as well as some gory scenarios. If you are bothered by either of these, you may want to skip this.
The entire premise is cockamamie but presented with a certain flavor of plausibility as to make it 'go down easier'... so to speak.
That the story veers into creepy pasta is where I start to feel annoyed...its not a bad genre for amature writers but....well I guess I assumed this guy was a cut or two above that. When the dark, starrgly haired horror trope in the hospital gown had her red eye pressed up to the video recorder lens and the camera viewer was wondering what all that red was, I pretty much threw up my hands and rolled my eyes.... very clever prose... for a 4chan story. My copy is an audiobook and I stopped listening at he 76% completion mark. I aught to finish it...just to be done with it and I suppose I will someday but aside from the competance of the prose the story...well....kindof sucks. I wish I didnt fork over good dough for this and am not particularly interested in buying anything else this guy writes. There are a lot of 5star reviews and mine only reflects 76% of tthe story so.. take that into consideration.
This guy works for a super-duper-hyper-secret organization that is more dangerous than all the mafias put together so why, WHY is he dumping all that DETAILED exposition on his DAUGHTER????? If he was working at an airforce base would he have a heart-to-heart talk with her where he reveals the launch codes for Americas MX Missle fleet? Haha...really.... would he?

Having says that I’ve never written a book so it’s quite easy to sit here say it’s bad. Ah well.
