The movie was good but it was filled with politically charged, anti gun ignorance as well as some racist innuendos (white country people being racist and it showed the white, gun loving country guy insinuate that the black people couldn't afford his house). The movie makes the assumption that if you own more than 1 gun then you’re crazy. The movie also calls hunting “Bambi killing” and showed the deer hunter acting crazy while killing the deer. A quote from the movie, “no guns on my property, I know what guns do.” The ironic part is, the bad guy with a gun completely whoops 2 people’s asses up until the good guy gets a hold of a gun and kills the intruder. And let’s not forget that the racist, crazy, Bambi killing white guy always wore an all red hat that looks very much like the trump MAGA hat. Anyone involved in politics or today’s culture will think of that hat as soon as they see the thing. You can’t go anywhere or watch hardly anything without having the mainstreams agenda crammed down your throat.

Terrible movie. 1 star at best. Not only did I have a hard time struggling through the anti gun/ anti hunting messages. Is this the personification of men nowadays? I rooted for Dennis Quaid, the only male actor in the film, the whole movie.

Dennis Quaid is so creepy in this. Lol If you know the signs of crazy (not mentally ill but crazy, there is a difference) he will make your skin crawl. Meagan and Michael are a great combo in this movie. Don't want to give away anything. But they are "yelling at the screen" worthy. Lol Rented it but going to buy for my library. Will definitely see again.

This movie is HYSTERICAL. There are no words. It's one of those "so bad it's good" movies. You will have fun. I don't even know where to start. It's a normal setup in the beginning as you can see in the trailer - nice couple buys a house from a guy who can't let go, he hangs around and invades their privacy, acts like the house is his, etc. Okay, that's creepy enough, but then it's like the writers grab every favorite horror cliche and twist they can think of and they just THROW it into one movie. God Bless Dennis Quaid for his acting range. We know he can act so his (hopefully intentional???) bad acting was just spectacular. He visibly deteriorates throughout the movie and I wonder how much of it was real because he had to be part of this film. At one point they even have him growling like Satan and he reenacts the axe scene from The Shining with absolute commitment. It's so amazing. He is a national treasure. The actors who play the main couple are really not convincing but it just makes this hot mess even better. I hope everyone who worked on this movie was paid well for their pain and suffering, it is worth it for the end result. Just go into this expecting a comedy and you won't be disappointed (then read the random and incoherent Amazon reviews, it just makes it even funnier). This is the most schizophrenic "horror" film I have ever witnessed. Omg. I feel like I just hallucinated it all, surely that was not real?

The movie overall I felt had pretty descent acting for the most part. It was kinda just another stereotypical horror movie though. The character does something thats obviously gonna get them caught by the bad guy. Foreshadowing was a little to strong in the first 15 minutes of the movie. I felt it had a great concept, but could have been executed a little better than it was.

All-in-all, not an earth shattering film but it was entertaining enough; the acting was good and if you're just in the mood for something interesting, not stressful and kinda fun, this might be the ticket for ya?

I watched it on sky movie's first and was impressed, Great acting from dennis quaid, Michael Ealy, and Meagan good,
STORY LINE, (not a spoiler)
Charlie (dennis quaid) put his house up for sell, (not really wanting to) scott (Michael ealy) and his wife annie (Meagan good) buy the house and couldn't be happier, it's Annie's dream home, charlie tells them he's moving away to live with his daughter Cassidy, but really he isn't he still there, charlie has other thing's in store for them, HE WANTS HIS HOUSE BACK, And terrorized them, and murders anyone who gets in his way,
I would recommend this movie, it's a great movie, i really enjoyed it that's why i brought it, 👍👌,
