Just like the Bluetooth version

I had the Bluetooth version of these a while back, then I left them on a plane and didn’t have enough money to replace them. When I found these I was excited, because they are less expensive, and also Bluetooth isnt very healthy. They just came and I’m very excited with the sound, the wire is flat, its nice, I like how the plug isn’t straight at the end (pic) they are comfortable (I have a big head so lots of headphones are too tight) I’m excited to see how these do and maybe I won’t lose them this time.

Had to send back; Warning in instructions about No Use with Heart Pacemaker. Why, in a non-battery, no BlueTooth model? Suspect the Directions were a generic print for more exotic models, but the HelpLine online was ridiculous in its non-answer in broken English sentences and meaning.

Lasted about 2 1/2 months for me before plug broke in half. Since someone else mentioned having issues with there plug I'm going to mention set the score to 2 stars.

I did like the design, sound quality and feel for price, i may purchase a JBL if there's one with a detachable plug (the JBL T500 plug cord is not replacable).

Worked fantastic for exactly 31 days. Now they are no longer producing any sound. Plugged in other headphones just to make sure it wasn't the device. Other headphones worked just fine. Need to see if it is still in the return period. Seems these are not made very well.

The headphone have great sound. The are a little tight at first but loosen up after awhile. The microphone is terrible. I tried using it for team calls and people said it sounded like I was talking with my mask on. I finally had to stop using it for calls altogether and just use the headphones for listening only. I will need to find another (better) set for team calls.

Primero que nada, un excelente sonido para sus 800 :D eh probado audífonos "económicos" de 300, 400, 500 y recientemente los Sony Extra Bass Mdr-xb550ap de más o menos 1,000, los cuales fueron de lo mejor, puedo decir que estos JBL Tune 500 alambricos son de lo mejorcito pues superan en claridad de sonido a los anteriores Sony Extra Bass Mdr-xb550ap de precio superior, los Sony tienen buen audio, pero estos lo superan, lo note pues aun me funcionan bien los anteriores, pero ya quería un cambio, lo recomiendo de verdad. :)

Hace una semana pedí unos Sony WH-XB700 de precio sumamente superior, quería mi primer par de audífonos inalámbricos y que mejor que ir por unos buenos, al final por errores de interferencia con el wi-fi terminaban los audífonos tirando la señal de modem y dejándome sin internet cada 5 minutos, me dijeron que los usara con el cable que traía, sinceramente tenia un sonido delicioso y refinado, justo lo que buscaba, pero por algo compre inalámbrico, porque quería esa libertad que se supone dan, al final los regrese, ¿esto que tiene que ver?. Que a pesar que probé ya unos audífonos de casi 3,000 pesos y su calidad de sonido era muy superior a estos realmente no se extrañan para nada, así de buena es la calidad de estos JBL, por eso los recomiendo tanto, supera a los Sony Extra Bass Mdr-xb550ap por un buen cacho y aunque no le llega a los Sony WH-XB700 realmente sientes que la calidad de sonido sería algo de un precio de unos 1,700 suena nítido y sin distorsión.

Los puntos malos... realmente sólo una cosa, el dinero se fue sin duda a los parlantes y componentes necesarios para el audio por lo que el resto que queda no es mucho, eso hace que la calidad de materiales si bien no es mala, no esperes a este precio materiales premium, pero si casi un audio premium (como de unos 1,700 como dije) eso incluye (en los materiales) un cable realmente delgadito, seré honesto, pareciera que con sólo verlo se dobla xD pero siempre eh cuidado mucho mis cosas, por lo que personalmente no lo veo malo, sin embargo si eres una persona más descuidada te recomiendo los trates con amor porque si es delgado el cable.

A lo que se refiere a presentación (que tan bien se ven en la calle), pues yo nunca escucho música en la calle, no me gusta, pero me encanta en la casa mientras trabajo, realmente no creo que importe como se vean en la calle estos audífonos sino que uno disfrute de la excelente calidad de audio, en cuanto a la cancelación pasiva (de tan sólo que estén en los oídos), es buena, un poquito mejor que los Sony Extra Bass Mdr-xb550ap, pero aún si te importa como se ven en la calle, diría que no son feos, pero tampoco bonitos, se ven sin duda mejor mis Sony Extra Bass Mdr-xb550ap gracias a el diseño más cuidado, pero como dije, a pesar de ser más costoso de nada sirve si la calidad de audio es menor a estos, los Sony WH-XB700 son otra cosa pues es más del triple de precio...

Comodidad: Leí que varios decían que no eran muy cómodos, pero en lo personal a pesar que en un inicio sentí que apretaban un poquito, a los minutos se me olvido, por eso yo difiero de eso, me gustaron para usarlos varias horas. :)

En resumen, calidad de audio excelente que no le pide nada a audífonos más costosos, materiales suficientemente buenos, buen precio, cómodos (para mi), vamos, el audífono perfecto. :3

Por cierto volví a comprar alámbrico porque los alámbricos nunca me han fallado ni interfieren con mi modem, no me arrepiento para nada de haberlos devuelto y comprar estas maravillas en su lugar, vayan por los suyos mientras estén en ese precio, no se arrepentirán.

Buy it when it's on sale, and replace the earpads

I got this when it was on sale for 38 CAD - I'm not sure I would pay full price for it though. The sound quality is quite good for the price I paid. The clamp pressure is strong so it might take some getting used to. I usually have to take a break after 1-2 hours of use, but when I find the right spot on my ears and top of head then they can be really comfortable. I switched out the earpads with velour earpads which vastly improves the comfort (you can use any replacement earpads for Sennheiser HD 25, they're the same size). The earpads that come with the headphones are soft and good for bass, but I find they made my ears sweaty; and the material is the kind that would rip or crack after a while. It's easy to pull the earpads off, and putting on replacement earpads can be tricky but definitely doable. You lose a bit of bass and noise cancellation with velour earpads but it's worth it for the comfort in my opinion. The construction is entirely plastic - but as long as you don't throw your headphones around or in your bag, they should be sturdy enough. I find that you mostly get what you pay for with headphones under $100 and at the sale price, these headphones are a pretty solid option.

Si me los pongo como en normal no me llega el aro arriba de la cabeza no se si estoy cabezon pero no me quedaron entonces el aro me lo tengo que poner hacia atrás para poderlos usar, para gente grande de tamaño como yo de cabeza no los recomiendo!

I use my headphones everyday. These sound great. I am not easy on my headphones but a good set lasts me 6 - 12 months. These headphones started to wear after a couple of months and have started to cut out. The phone button is not very sensitive and usually the Google voice is inacted instead of pausing or skipping song. My next purchase will probably not be these headphones

Sound is really very good but these headphones fit very tight (at least on someone with a large head like me). They will improve somewhat with age and helped by some stretching of the headband. Great at blocking out external sound but not comfortable for long periods. Also the chord is very short. Clearly designed for phone application and not for home stereo. Pick up an extension chord if you plan to plug it in anywhere more than a few feet away.
