I really liked the first two books. The general plot and conflict are unique and interesting. Here’s the but… I don’t think this series really qualifies as RH.

Mild Spoilers…

The heroine is Callie. At first, the 4 guys are all really into her, but in books 3, 4, and some of 5; Callie’s journey falls to the wayside and the books become mostly MM sex of various combinations. I ended up skipping large portions of the books to get the main plot points.

If MM+ is your thing, you’d prob like these books. However I like the harem to be all about the heroine, and maybe some MMF at times.

I don't usually write many reviews but this series ended really well. I like this book has the most because the scenes between the Hawk and Kotah. I cried a little. It was intense. I feel like anytime an author makes me feel so much the author should get a standing ovation. The only thing that I would change is maybe a few less sex scenes. I feel like I like the ones where there's an emotional reason, and maybe a few were there aren't. Hot damn there were a ton.

The first two books were awesome. Good character development, action, and intimate moments. Slowly the books stopped focusing on the story line and more just on the sexual relationship. There was so little time spent with Hawk's father at the end (immortal and dead in like 20 pages?), Riley was a no show, and then it kinda just sets up to a sequel in the last 15ish pages. I just am so frustrated with the teasing throughout the series with it to end this way for this quint.

I love the conclusion of the Phoenix quint where their team was able to fulfill their duties. I did have a bit of a hard time trying to track who’s POV some of the chapters and sections were told because I get caught up in new revelations. I ended up having to back track a few pages back to see who’s front and center. Overall, this book really portrayed the struggles and triumph of the quint. I’m looking forward to Keyla’s story.

WORST ENDING!!!! I loved these books, but to end this last part of the series the way it was seriously sucked. To not see the growing baby through their eyes is going to make me honestly not want to read to set of books. I will because i can't leave it like that, but it's not a way to end a series.

So, I’ve adored these characters since book one, but I felt this one didn’t really give us a lot. Like, yeah we got sexy scenes and the big confrontation with the bad guy happened but it didn’t have me excited and continuously turning pages like the previous books. I even put it down and didn’t pick it up again for two days. That is not like me, I’m usually a one-sitting reader. Don’t get me wrong I still love the characters and the conclusion, it just left me wanting that’s all.

So, despotencializadora this being the last book of Calli’s RH, her and her mate’s stories will keeping rolling during Keyla’s books.

Awesome, but still a little annoying, to be fair as we would thought about an end after 5 books.

The last book is not the last book. So many things wrapped up but so many things left open. So many unknowns, but apparently book 6 will be the first book of a new harem but this quint will be side characters.

I liked that even though they had come together by the end of the last book, they still learned things about each other, still found triggers to sort, it was a more realistic HEA that they are working on (well, realistic for a 5-way relationship!)
