About Jan Stryvant
There really isn't a lot to say at the moment, but I'll try to mention a few things. First, the warnings about what kind of a book it is? Please read those. Because it's kind of sad to see people complaining about a book containing Harem and Violence and adult situations when it says right in the blurb that those things are in the story.
Yes I work for a living, yes I have worked in some very odd industries (entertainment included), yes I will try to write more stories. No I'm not the next great American literature writer, sorry, I just want to have fun (is there anything wrong with that?) and entertain people. I'll see about a blog or a webpage one of these days, if people are interested.
Thank you for buying my books, the number of people who have bought them is quite surprising.

Blog postI know there were some folks who wanted this for this collection, so I finally took care of it. All four of the Wives Tales editions, which each contained a pair of shorts about each of Sean's wives, are now out in one book.
It's only out as a paperback, because I figure most folks already have the ebooks as they were all sold pretty cheap. The paperback is $4.99 US - price varies in other countries though I kept the royalty to about 25 cents in every case. Sadly in some pl2 months ago Read more -

Blog postIt is becoming clearer and clearer that Amazon is not sending out notifications of new works reliably or at ALL for certain authors (your humble narrator being one of them). The ONLY people who got notifications so far on my new Jan Stryvant Novel, were the ones on my list, or the ones who follow me online.
Folks - the facts of the matter are simple: If you want to read my books when they come out you MUST sign up for my mailing list or you won't know that they ARE5 months ago Read more -

Blog postI thought I had mentioned this before, but apparently it didn't get spread around, so I felt I needed to mention this now, publicly, so that everyone was aware of it:
Starting over a Month ago, I began removing some books from the Kindle Unlimited program, and they will NOT be going back in.
Right now, it's only the books that have had very poor sales. KU is a numbers game, if a book sells a lot, and people keep buying it, keeping it in KU is fiscally sound. But if sales quick7 months ago Read more -
Blog postOkay, a lot has happened sine the last time I posted here and I do mean A LOT.
First of all, if I haven't mentioned it already, I got Covid, again, and I caught it from a vaxxed person at a dinner party. So excuse me if I've now decided that I don't want anything to do with THAT. As I believe I've mentioned here in the past, but will mention again: I have lung damage. Blog postSeriously, that's what I live for, for you, my readers, to enjoy yourselves and have a good time. To have fun. I have also found that most of the truly good authors I know all feel the saw way: They just want you to have a good time.
Which is why it makes me smile every time someone tells me they enjoyed one of my books. (Course getting paid to do this makes it even better).

Blog postI've been sick, so I haven't been able to write for several weeks. The next book in this series was supposed to be finishing up now, so when I published this book, today, I'd have the next one ready to go in another 2 weeks.
But I was sick.
I thought about holding off and not releasing this until next month, when the next book will be ready, but I decided not to. So the next book will be a while, sorry, but life happens.
I hope you enjoy it:

Blog postThis is the 'Bridge Book' between the old and the new series, technically, but I called it Valens Legacy 18 because while it's several years later, it's mostly the same people. We're just starting to see how the world is changing.

This is probably my worst selling book ever and someone told me yesterday that the story was good, they just felt the cover was giving people the wrong idea? Titles By Jan Stryvant
After a bit of bowing and scraping, last year he convinced his father to let him join the scouts who patrol the Demon Exclusion Zone, and in that last year he's more than proven that there is one thing he does take seriously: his job. He's become so good at it in fact that when his brother SJ starts to worry about the possibility that djevels are getting out, Troy is the one who gets handed the task of finding them.
However in the middle of all of this, a joke Mihalis decided to play on him has turned into something that's not a joke at all. Something that has definitely gone beyond his control and suddenly Troy has found himself with a lot more responsibilities than he ever meant to have. For someone who's supposed to be as shallow as a mud puddle when it came to the opposite sex, he's finding that he's a lot deeper than even he thought as he struggles to balance these new responsibilities with the job his brother needs him to do.
No matter the outcome, life is never going to be the same for him, and it's starting to look like that's a good thing.
WARNING: "Troy" is definitely not for the faint of heart because have you seen how fast that sucker can run? You can't do that with a faint heart! Seriously! You'll kill yourself! Yes, there are references to *gasp* sex in this story. There's even references to (dare I say it!) marriage! Oh noes! Run for your lives! It's about growing up and taking responsibility, the one thing that's kryptonite to jokers everywhere! Oh, and if you just happen to be driving through the deserts of Nevada and see some guy babbling about two brothers and some 'game' they're playing? Don't stop.
Raised to the blade by his mother, and taught not only her ways as well as a good many of the ways of her people, but also the ways of his father's other wives, as well as the ways of his magic, Mihalis has had a very thorough education. Even if a fair deal of that education is in the arts of war.
But all he really wants to do is to prove himself. To go out into the world and show that yes, he is his father's son, and that yes, he is his own man, to find his own way in the world.
WARNING: "Mihalis" does contain many of those things that the previous series was known for: Bad jokes, poor modern culture references, obscure song references, violence, and yes, what you've all been waiting for: Sex. Now SOME PEOPLE don't seem to UNDERSTAND that these warnings are done as much as a joke as a 'Spoiler' alert, to alert the PRUDES that yes, like all MODERN science fiction and urban fantasy stories, there is Sex in the story! Heaven forfend that these quivering fragile flowers should read any modern romance! I dare say they'd die straight-away from the non-stop kinkfest that is modern romance!
So SCREW THEM! YES! There is all sorts of sordid and kinky stuff that's been done while I wrote this book and most of it was done by YOU! You Dear readers! So let us NOT go into this cold dark night alone or afraid! Because we know what that dreaded noise in the shadows is! That Moaning and Groaning and the rattling of chains! That noise is US!
(Have Fun).
However this still leaves him with his other problems: A dozen women whom he just rescued from certain death that he now has to take care of, protect, and figure out what to do with until he can send them home; Dr. Ruxton, who is most certainly up to something other than what he claims to be doing - but who has actually done a lot of good in the world for all that he is a ruthless man; a profitable black market business that needs to be run in such a manner as to make sure that those profits end up in his pocket, and a dark elf house that needs to be put in its place and taught a lesson.
Oh, and it just might be true that two of those women he rescued just might be famous.
At least it won't be boring.
WARNING: "Be Of Good Cheer" contains lots and lots of that kind of language that sailors are most famous for! It also contains other forms of 'blue' language (how come there isn't 'green' language?), consenting couples having consenting relations, polygamy (or is that big-oh-me?) A young lion putting together his pride - along with all the spice that means, or to put it in blatant terms: Sexual Relations! Also we have sheep being fleeced, money being made, hucksters being hucked and succubi being... Umm, I think you get the picture. Oh! And remember! If you see a guy in a collar muttering something about two crazed twins as he stumbles along ever eastward, you might just want to head in the opposite direction.
After a couple of tours with the infantry on the border, as well as inside of the DEZ (Demon Exclusion Zone), SJ is now in charge of the hunter teams tasked with rounding up and elimination all of those djevels on the outside. It's a hard and often thankless job but he welcomes the challenge.
The only problem is, it seems things have been slowly getting worse, not better, over the last few years and he wouldn't be his father's son if he didn't take it personally.
WARNING: "Sean (SJ) contains scenes of blatant disregard for things that we should all regard! Things like your elders and those 'older and wiser' and any other thing a headstrong young man might run into. Plus a pair of dangerous and slightly conniving wives who do occasionally need to be put into their place. Oh, and let's not forget sneaky tigers, not so sneaky cheetahs, and a poor chair that was just minding it's own business until it was smashed into little pieces against the wall. (Oh, and yes, there's sex in this book as well, a little mayhem, property destruction, but sadly no robbery).
Yeah, this is one curse that Dan is willing to put up with. The problem is, the demon wants to be free of the curse as well, but for that to happen, one of them has to die and neither one of them is fond of that solution. Though in Dan's case the curse makes his death inevitable, unless another solution is found.
But in the meantime this demon has a little problem: Four of her closest friends have also been trapped into curses of their own, and she'd be very thankful if he'd help her free them. As they've all been trapped just as long as she has, she's sure they'll all be just as grateful as she was!
WARNING: “Cursed” contains explicit sexuality, nudity, violence, bad language, attempted murder, actual murder, self-defense, pro-active self-defense, destruction of private property, theft, no arson (yet), demonic sex, gratuitous sex, mayhem, violence, breaking and entering, card cheats, a trip to Stockton (pee-ew! roll up that window!) and a really nice lady who drinks too much.
While constant vigilance is better than constant battle, it's still constant. Plus, fights do crop up from time to time, but the enemy is sneaky and underhanded, so trouble will always come from the corner you least expect it. The world is also now a much different place now that the war is over. Everyone now knows about magic, lycans, djevels, dwarves, elves, and all rest.
Worse still is that it's not done changing as everyone has to learn to face the reality that there are demons in the world today, and they can and will show up where you least expect it. No one truly knows what the future holds anymore, other than the lions have their work cut out for them, for the next several hundred years.
WARNING: "Everyday, Including Holidays" contains all those things that you promised your mother you'd never read, but you do it now in the privacy of your own home where she isn't watching! That's right, things like explicit sexuality, nudity, violence, bad language, robbery, murder, demons doing nasty things, self-defense, pro-active self-defense, breaking and entering on a grand scale, theft of government property, LGOPS, unscrupulous and manipulative people, polyamory, explicit sex, mayhem, wise-ass Marines, puking children, and a pair of nosy neighbors who discovered that means the police knock on your door first!
Unfortunately, or maybe it really is fortunately, Dan's curse can't be removed until they free the rest of her friends. Otherwise they'd be forced to kill him, and both Wrath and Aella, his now current full-time companions really aren't very fond of doing away with him just yet. All Dan knows is that he's really enjoying the oath-swearing part of the deal that they each have to take after he frees them.
But there are bigger problems on the horizon for Dan. First and foremost is the wizard who cursed him as well as the five demon-girls. Apparently he's not very pleased with the idea that Dan just might escape his fate, or that the girls apparently already have. Then there's some other more deadly fallout from all of this that Wrath and Aella have been rather hesitant to inform him of.
WARNING: “BeDeviled” contains explicit sexuality, nudity, violence, bad language, attempted murder, shootings, robbery, breaking and entering, axe wielding demons, attempted raps, murder, lost innocence, destruction of private property, theft, still no arson, demonic sex, gratuitous sex, mayhem, more violence, car bombs, liars and other cheats, and yes there really is a hidden stage and bar in the Lion's Building in downtown Sacramento.
In his junior year at college, studying for his computer science degree, the only things on Sean's mind are doing his homework and getting out of college to get a real job and finally escape the utter poverty he's lived in since his father was killed in an industrial accident when Sean was only eight years old. A gamer and a bit of a nerd, Sean's philosophy in life has been to keep his head down and get his work done, he doesn't have the time or money for anything more.
But when a failed kidnapping attempt leaves him with a gaping hole in his memory, his oldest friend dead, and his mother missing, Sean suddenly finds his whole world turned upside down as he's suddenly thrust into the hidden world of magic and the supernatural. Apparently he's now wanted, dead or alive, by all of the magical societies, though he has no idea why. About the only thing going for him is what his friend did for him just before he died, and the cute track star that lives in the room next to his, that has suddenly taken a very personal interest in his problems.
WARNING: "Black Friday" contains explicit sexuality, nudity, violence, bad language, attempted murder, actual murder, self-defense, pro-active self-defense, destruction of private property, arson, tantric magic, polyamory, mayhem, gratuitous sex and violence, littering, jay-walking, firearms, a racist goblin, an honest lawyer, and a kindly old gossip who likes to give cookies to kids.
The only thing keeping him alive at this point is his newly discovered mixed heritage. But even that won't keep him alive for long if they don't find help soon. Magical help. Powerful help. Perhaps even the kind of help that requires a visit to Wrath's father, a truly last ditch resort as he's not only the last person you meet to meet in a dark alley, meeting him on the street in broad daylight isn't exactly safe either. However all those many years of being mean, evil, and an all around terror have left him with a knowledge of curses and their effects that few can rival - few still left alive.
This of course doesn't mean that the wizard who cursed him isn't trying to kill him, he's actually looking to be much more proactive in that venture. Assuming however that Dan and the Girls don't kill him first.
WARNING: "Heritage" contains unicorns and fairy dust and cute pixies and happy people singing happy songs and dancing and playing nice and never a nasty word is said. It also contains a Warning Message that's just One Big Lie. Nothing's changed! It's still chock full of raunchy, kinky, demonic sex, and a lot of people doing bad things and enjoying it! (Please Note: The Almighty Tallest has not approved this message).
Of course there are a few people who might feel differently about this, like the Mage Wiles, and then there's the small problem of being banished, but none of that really matters. All that matters is Dan is finally starting to realize just who and what he is. And just what that means.
He may not have been born a demon, but he's become a very quick study at all that it means to be one!
WARNING: (Is it really a warning if I'm telling you what you want to hear? Hmm, good question that, but well, there's always the chance you came here without reading the first three books. Hey wait! You didn't read the first three books?! Shame on you! Go read them!) And for the rest of you, this books is, like the rest, full of all sorts of kinky demonic sex, raunchy people, doing raunchy things, and enjoying it! Sex! Violence! Threesomes, Foursomes, Fivesomes! (what comes after five?) and lots of hot demon girls.
While the Vestibulum may have lost this last battle, they are be no means giving up on the war. They know that they've hurt Sean, so their leaders are hoping that without his leadership, they can launch a new attack and kill him before he has the chance to recover. Word of Sean's difficulties has also spread to some of his other enemies, who are also keen to try and capitalize on these events.
Thankfully, Sean has allies, and they are moving to try and save his life. But can they get there in time?
WARNING: “Stand On It” contains explicit sexuality, nudity, violence, bad language, rabbits fornicating, attempted murder, actual murder, military style raids, mass combat, self-defense, pro-active self-defense, destruction of private property, vandalism, breaking and entering, misleading of government officials, robbery, assault & battery, tantric magic, polyamory, mayhem, people who aim to misbehave, gratuitous sex and violence, and a group of guys who are willing to do whatever it takes to prove to their girlfriends that they really do love them, no matter how embarrassing it is (and trust me, it's embarrassing).
While Sean promised not to start a war, it's looking more and more like that choice isn't going to be his to make. Especially when the other Ascendant chapters come calling to avenge their dead. Thankfully for Sean, he has witnesses to just what happened, witnesses that will hopefully keep all the other councils from rallying against him. But now will they instead rally against the Vestibulum instead? That could be just as bad for him.
Then there are the people that Sean saved from the Ascendants during the raid, all of whom he's responsible for, and for now has to provide with a place to live as well as protections from the magic of their former masters. Then there are the four dark elves that were freed during the raid, two of which are now very interested in Sean and one of which isn't at all afraid to let him know, constantly.
And just how do you go about introducing your mother to your (several) wives when she shows up in a few days?
WARNING: “When It Falls” contains explicit sexuality, nudity, violence, bad language, attempted murder, actual murder, military style raids, mass combat, self-defense, pro-active self-defense, destruction of private property, vandalism, breaking and entering, robbery, assault & battery, tantric magic, polyamory, mayhem, people who aim to misbehave, gratuitous sex and violence, an opportunistic goblin, and an old man who gets broken out of an old folks home in order to cheat at roulette.
