About Jessica Merchant
Jessica Merchant is a full-time recipe developer, blogger and content creator. She is madly, outrageously, inexplicably in love with food. Bacon makes her beam. Chocolate makes her shout from the rooftops with joy. Vegetables are her biggest frenemy. (Her perfect world would include none of them.) She has been writing the popular food blog, How Sweet It Is, since 2009, when she finally discovered a way to mesh her passion for building recipes with one of her other favorite things: writing. As a self-proclaimed food fanatic, she has shared her favorite recipes, daily ramblings and entertaining anecdotes with millions of, what she calls, her invisible internet friends, creating a large following and a vocal community on her site. In her spare time, she loves reading, writing fiction and practicing yoga. And margaritas. Obviously.
