John is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Wisconsin in the United States, where he is also a course instructor and seminar facilitator. His Well-Being Model integrates emerging concepts from psychology, economics, medicine, and other fields. It was selected as the structure for the retirement education program for the U.S. government workforce, the employees of AARP (American Association for Retired Persons), and other organizations. It provides the content for his book with Richard Bolles: What Color Is Your Parachute? For Retirement.
