About John Yezeguielian
John has been writing since his teens, in many genres. An ASCAP songwriter, most of his creative efforts go into making music. As protege of Mercedes Lackey, he wrote the title story, "Sword of Ice" for her first anthology, "Sword of Ice and Other Tales of Valdemar." Now working on his second full-length album, he continues to explore the world and lend an artist's perspective. An acoustic guitar guru who has worn a plethora of hats over the years, from biologist to bodyguard, and all the way on to zookeeper, his tales are always entertaining.
Today John makes his living as a Showroom-level dealer and tech of Taylor Guitars, (with other select instruments), and designs custom instruments. When he's not doing that, he's an activist and budding luthier. Sometimes he still finds the time to write prose as well. Still unsure what he will be when he ends up, he's not lkely to slow down any time soon. "Life is to be lived as fully as possible," is his perspective. Many hats is a good thing.
Hailing from Chicago, John now splits his time between Oregon and on the Big Island of Hawaii. He lives with a dog, a cat, his Significant Other, and some incredible guitars.
