Not Faithful At All

This movie was a horrible, blasphemous, downright Satanic "adaptation" of the classic Biblical tale of Joseph and his treacherous brothers. I watched this movie with high hopes, with great optimism, so much so that I had my Bible in my hand, following along with the story as the movie played. And, to put it lightly, THIS MOVIE DID NOT FOLLOW THE GOOD BOOK. IT MADE MANY CHANGES! Many changes that would be pleasing to THE DEVIL and to SINNERS and NONBELIEVERS, of which I am not and do not associate. This was very upsetting to me. I prayed extensively to God Almighty after watching this movie, that I could see the good in this movie that was not there, but my mind - my soul! - continues to be troubled at the liberties, foul liberties, taken with the Word of God in this movie. I do not recommend this to ANY people that are Saved, they will be very, very disappointed. Very disappointed in the Godlessness seen here. Hollywood does not get lower than this. I would be very interested to know who financed this picture! Much might be revealed.

Pretty good movie!

I thought the movie Joseph was pretty good. I don't know why some people said that it wasn't. It was as close to how it happened in the Bible as you can get when putting it in modern day terms of how we do things today. It's just like if someone decided to make a movie about Jesus' birth in modern times, Jesus would be born in a homeless shelter for men and women instead of in a stable because all of the hotels would be booked. Something like that. The person who said the movie was sacrilegious, if it was because of the scene where the woman tried to seduce Joseph, that's what happened in the Bible. So that really did happen. So the movie was pretty good. Joseph is my favorite Bible story because it reminds me of me and my siblings. So I thought this was a pretty good movie.

Made for tv movie at best with terrible acting, dialogue and script. The number of reviews should prove this is NOT worth watching.

Great story, poor delivery

I've seen Lifetime TV with better acting - they messed up one of the greatest stories, ever.
Lame, namby-pamby, dated and drab. Read the Bible - a lot more interesting!

Great story...

The biblical story of Joseph is one of my favorites. This was a very well done modern-day depiction. The acting was fantastic, the story very well written. It was beautifully done. It held to the integrity of the story, with a contemporary twist. Great job!
