The first time I looked at the cover I thought it was not going to be a good book but when I saw the author Judy Blum I told my mom I would give it a try since I have read almost all of her books . When I was half why in the book I instantly fell in love with the book so when I had to do something I tried so hard to resist . But before you skip me I hust have to say this is the best book I have ever read so I think u sould try it u might like it like I did (BTW my fav character was Rachel ) I could go on and on and on and on about how great this book is but I really whant you to read this book and If u dont its your loss that u past up a great book so good to ur favorite spot and a blanket and read this book by:)

My 10 year old daughter loved this book. She’s sometimes has a hard time finding nice friendship/ preteen books to read. This Judy Blume book kept her reading and interested. It is a story involving 3 girls, one recently moved to town. Another young girl has parents that are separated (not divorced) so it discusses that. It talks a little about boys and school things. Overall my daughter enjoyed it and gives it 5 stars for anyone who enjoys Judy Blume.

I was a HUGE Judy Blume fan as a kid, 'tween, and teen. I read, Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret, literally dozens of times. So when I spotted a Blume title I hadn't read (even though I'm now in my 50's) I grabbed it. I have to say I was a bit disappointed. The story has many elements I loved as a tween: crushes on cute boys, middle school troubles, family issues, BFF drama, starting adolescence and the accompanying body changes, and more. However, I found the protagonist, Stephanie, so unlikeable that it put a damper on the whole book. She's very self-indulgent, bratty, rude, selfish, and immature. No wonder she constantly gets in fights with her friends and family! I wouldn't want to hang around with Stephanie for even five minutes, and therefore, I wouldn't re-read this book, like I did all of my Judy Blume favorites.

This is another brilliant book but I have to say it's more suited to the older population of her younger fans. I wish judy bloome would Wright sequels to her books although this one she has, this isn't one of my favourites but that is just my opinion but it still is good,I do love this book as it is her all over and I love her collection, but then please because they are really good, my favourites is good it's me Margaret so I would start of f with that one you will really like it!
