Smart & Manual Mode A "smart" mode means it will automatically select the correct settings for the operation between volts (DC or AC), ohms, and continuity test.	Lightning Jacks The probe ports have a flashing green light that indicates exactly which probe ports to use for the test. Only insert the lead into the correct jack you can start the measurement.	Safe & Reliable Like a mobile phone, the meter is protected by a shockproof and insulating case to ensure a firm grip. Can prevent accidental fall and dust.	Easy to Read The screen is bright enough and has high contrast, making it easy to see. In addition, the back is equipped with an LED light, so you can use it with confidence when working in the dark.

Non-contact Voltage Test

The meter has a sensitive NCV test for detecting continuity/ breaks in wires or proving a live terminal.

To get more specific, you can switch to the Live wire test, which acts as a voltage tester.

Thermometer

In addition to the measured value, the tester displays the temperature. In addition to the measured value, the tester displays the temperature.

A thermocouple is also included. You can test liquid temperature from -40°F ~ +1832°F/-40°C ~ +1000°C.

Malfunctioning replacement, but easy fix.

So i had one that started up when batteries inserted, and went into a boot loop, beeping and flashing.
Ordered a replacement, and got it the next day. It was looping on batt insert also, dang it.

Opened this one like i was going to change the fuse. No wires from back battery mount to circuit board.
Bent the contacts out a bit, so they would make firmer contact with board lands, and voila, works fine.
NCV and LED worked great too. Got prompting flashes from the ports too, so all is well.

Glad i gave this vendor another shot, this is a nice little meter setup.

edit:
Started cycling again, looks like jamming it back into the hard rubber protective case either bends the circuit up where the LED light is, or flexes the case enuf to pull the contacts off the lands.
Sending back again, too bad, was bright enuf to read in the desert sun.

Compact multimeter with a convenient, protective zippered case.

Eine interne Temperaturanzeige ist ein verzichtbares Gimmik. Für den Profi nachteilig: Der Akustik-Durchgangsprüfer spricht verzögert an und schaltet verzögert ab. Die Meßarten sind zwar händisch wählbar, innerhalb der Modis können aber keine Meßbereiche gewählt bzw. fixiert werden. Was mich am meisten nervt und nicht abstellbar ist: Das Gerät piepst: Beim Einschalten, beim manuellen Ausschalten, bei der Messmodi-Umschaltung, bei der automatischen Auschalt-Warnung, beim automatischen Abschalten. Wen das nicht stört, bzw. eine Multimeter sucht, daß sich auf Anhieb und ohne Einarbeitung benutzten läßt, wird wahrscheinlich damit zufrieden sein.

Gegenüber dem KM601 hat es zwar nur 6000Counts, aber damit kann man leben...
