I was excited to watch this because I really enjoyed Karen Kingsbury's "The Bridge"

I was excited to watch this because I really enjoyed Karen Kingsbury's "The Bridge"...well, this was nowhere near as good. It was depressing and the lead actress spent the entire movie acting like her dog just died. I seriously don't remember her smiling once in the entire movie. It was hard to have any empathy for her. In fact, it was hard to even like her. Plus the movie wasn't even believable. Her children and friends act like they have no clue she is so sad, but it would be extremely hard not to notice. Watching this movie made me want to take a long nap. And that's not a compliment.

"You can still choose to stay. You can choose love."
"No matter how bad things are, I’m still in love with my wife."
"Never stop committing, never stop trying."

Love and marriage

I found this to be a very realistic picture of young love and marriage. The idealism of what your life will be like versus 20+ years later. Love, regrets. Wonderful movie about finding your way back.

Positive example of truth in marital difficulties.

Serious movie about marriage. If you've ever had big bumps along the way, you'll identify even if own experience is different. Yet, hope wins out. Uplifting. Don't give up. Watched multiple times.
