Not great, not by ANY stretch of imagination. I admire Keanu tremendously. It's always good to see a really handsome actor do a superb job in ANY role! I read the top two reviews, and was first of all, stricken by the fact that the first of the two clearly didn't have English as a primary language. That is really ok, I have no problem with THAT. MY problem was that this documentary is basically mush. There is NO..."In his words"...about it. For sure, there are some good photos, no doubt about THAT. The man IS delicious to look at, yep! But I DEFINITELY get the feeling that he really dislikes being interviewed...(don't blame him ONE BIT). There is very little new info in this doc. Someone is really very desperate to produce this low quality film. Nothing new. I say, " Don't bother".
He still remains somewhat a mystery...and I'm very glad, for HIM, that it should remain so. Don't we ALL have our OWN private Idaho?
Leave this man ALONE. I'VE lost my own beloved. It hurts. Leave Keanu be.

Just the basics

As usual with this type of quickie star bio, if they can't easily find the right photo of a particular person being spoken about they will just insert anyone; as is evident in the moment where Jennifer Syme is mentioned.
The girl in the clip who is clinging to Reeve's arm AND hand while walking a carpet, is not the woman he briefly dated who was tragically killed in the accident.
But then again this is typical of these low budget star bio's.
The other typical & tiresome thing it does is to perpetuate the notion that Reeves life is sad & filled with more devastation than is normal in
This is just not so. Unless one is unusual, by the time someone reaches middle age it is normal to start to realize that people in your life die, get ill, tragic things will happen because it is all part of the growth/life experience.
It must annoy him that he is pitied by the press who uses the unfortunate things that have occurred in his life to sell their pieces.
As far as it is known by his own admission & from other's who know him well; he has a fantastic, well rounded life, and one that he insists
on keeping private.

Keanu is Breathtaking...

I thought this was good... All the info about him was stuff everyone already knew... But it was still a decent watching experience. I've recently been binge watching Keanu's movies and I'm curious about each of them. I really didn't like the last Matrix movie... But that's an entirely different review. Honestly, I think it would be cool just to see something that is more of a day in the life of Keanu. Also... I thought his bio dad was still alive... I'll have to look it up. I thought I read an article from his dad with a Hawaiian newspaper from 2015... Now I'm curious what year this film was done.

Poor Keanu?

Keanu had a "hard life"? Let's touch down on reality. He is someone who became privileged by connections. In another life, he would be privileged by food alone. I enjoy his light acting in some roles, but he's far from a rags-to-riches story. He was hardly Oliver Twist, and he's not even in the top 100 for acting talent. If people gossip negatively about you, it's wrong. If people exaggerate about your hardships, talents, etc., it's just as wrong.

The First Amendment means d**k, because it's only a free ticket for making money from nothing.

Keanu Reeves is such a great actor.

I am a huge fan of Keanu Reeves. He seems down to earth, friendly, and generous to anyone. The more I know about him, the more I love him. He is not like other actors in Hollywood and living a simple life as the person himself. He's one the most handsome and talented actors in the whole world.

I enjoyed the having a brief glimpse into the life and career of Keanu Reeves. It appears he was fortunate enough to find his calling at an early age. From what I can see based on his filmography he has continued to develop his craft. Much thanks

Interesting review of Mr. Reeves' career
Verified purchase
I have always thought that Kneau Reeves is a gifted actor and enjoyed this more comprehensive and nuanced look at his career. It was enjoyable as well to learn about some of his other interests, such as being in a rock band. I hope he continues to make good, interesting movies.
