This mat arrived folded, and laid out nicely almost instantly. Was glad to see that the creases weren’t bent into it. It fits perfectly at 22 x 36 on a standard apartment door. It sheds a lot at first, so be prepared. Being the admittedly zany perfectionist that I am, I shook it out and then used my Dustbuster across the entire surface, top and bottom to try and pick up any future shedding. Hoping that takes care of it and that it won’t be a problem anymore. The only definite drawback I see so far is that when you stand on it, because it doesn’t have a rubber backing, it kind of wiggles and travels a little bit and I could see it easily getting askew throughout the week. Going to see how it goes, might purchase a rubber bottom for it or something to create some kind of traction for it so that it doesn’t move so much. It looks beautiful, however, and has a that lovely natural look that I was going for.

Purchased to paint a design on. It arrived quickly and packaged securely. I will purchase more on Amazon because you get a great variety of sizes and they are cheaper than what you can purchase in the stores. It has a very thick(not so thick you trip on) black rubber backing so it is secure and won't slide. I used about four coats of acrylic outdoor paint on the so secure wear and tear and it turned out great. I will purchase more to decorate in the future.
