About Ken Goldman
Ken Goldman is a former Philadelphia teacher of English and Film Studies and an Active member of the Horror Writers Association. He has homes on the Main Line in Pennsylvania and at the Jersey shore depending upon his mood and his need for a tan. His stories have appeared in over 930 independent press publications in the U.S., Canada, the UK, and Australia with over twenty due for publication in 2021. Since 1993 Ken's tales have received seven honorable mentions in The Year's Best Fantasy & Horror, and he has received an obscene number of awards for real money. (A list is available on request for the insatiably curious or for those offering a six figure movie deal.)
He has written six books : three books of short stories : YOU HAD ME AT ARRGH!! : FIVE UNEASY PIECES BY KEN GOLDMAN (six short stories from Sam's Dot Publishers and an all-time top ten bestseller at the former Genre Mall); DONNY DOESN'T LIVE HERE ANYMORE (five short stories released by A/A Productions in print, Kindle, Nook, download, and audio formats); STAR-CROSSED (five short stories released by Vampires 2 Publishing Company in Kindle format); and a novella, DESIREE, (from Damnation books in print while a 2016 Kindle edition is available from ExCessica Publications at Amazon.com). Got that? There will be a test on Monday.
Ken's novel, OF A FEATHER, was published by Horrific Tales Publishing (UK) in January 2014 in print, Kindle, and electronic formats available on Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk Take a look at the reviews when you have the chance. Bring money.
Ken's second novel, SINKHOLE, published by Bloodshot Books (in print and on Kindle), came out to play during August 2017.
Ken would be famous except for the fact nobody seems to know who he is. However, he looks forward to the day when he and Stephen King are called to the dais and someone asks "Who is that guy standing next to Ken Goldman?"

How often have you heard that phrase used? It’s one of the worst things to say to one of our fellow human beings with connotations of fearful, miserable and prolonged pain, either physical or psychological.
Hell, that concept of a place of eternal damnation, where pitchfork wielding devils plague our very posteriors with the flames of cleansing fire, is that real? Many of the ancient cultures on Earth seemed to think so. The Egyptians, the Greeks, the Vikings, but also the Chinese, each had their own variety of an afterlife, filled with agony and demonic creatures to dispense a kind of divine retribution for the sins we committed during our lives.
But there is another side to Hell. There is redemption. There is the chance, no matter how small, that our souls are saved through the cleansing fires and torments of that place. But it’s not the redemption itself that inspires us. It’s hope, the thought that somehow, somewhere, a benevolent God watches over us and shows us the mercy and forgiveness that we cannot give ourselves.
So what if you achieve redemption? Is it an automatic ticket into heaven? Or do you enter the next level of torment, to be judged once again, in a never ending journey?
Established and new authors attempt to answer some of these questions in this excellent anthology. And for now I’ll skip my further contemplations and bid you:
Welcome to Hell!
And monsters into men.
What would you do for love?
Self-sacrifice, of course...
But what about literal sacrifice?
Would you kill for the right person?
Would you kill again…and again…and again?
What if you could come back from the dead to protect your loved ones?
Or never die in the first place?
Would you cross the ocean? The world?
What about the universe? Or reality itself?
Would you enlist a demon to avenge your brother?
Or seduce a serial killer to save your sister?
Would you live an eternity of lifetimes with your soulmate?
Even if he was a monster?
A family of necromancers determined to preserve their way of life at all costs…
A tragic spirit whose rage burns across centuries…
Parents who go to reality-defying lengths to save their children…
Legendary monsters resurrected to avenge the forgotten…
Guardians of the ancient world who kill to protect their wards…
Jealous lovers who let nothing stand in their way…
Come and meet these monsters, and the things they do for love.

Theater B is a collection of short stories written in the same vein as the classic B movies that we fell in love with for their utter lack of shame. They are orgasms of creativity, sluicing imagination from every orifice. They are monuments to the raw idea, bereft of filter, spawned to electrify, to terrify, and to nauseate.
We’re Revisiting the Undead to resurrect those tales and bring them back so you can sit with them for a while, and remember them from their heyday, when they shone like the brightest sun. They still shine, but in moonlight now: softer, colder.
The undead have returned. Invite them in.
