About Keris Stainton
She previously worked as a bookseller, a PA in the music industry, and once got a casual job as an arena steward so she could see New Kids on the Block for free. She was born in Canada, grew up on the Wirral, lived in London for a while and now lives in Lancashire with two boys, one guinea pig, an unhealthy obsession with One Direction (yes, she has a boyband problem) and a plan to move to the seaside in the next twelve months.
She can almost always be found on Twitter (@keris) or Instagram (@kerisstainton), avoiding writing her next book (but she's working on it in her head. Probably).

The laugh-out-loud new comedy about family relationships from the ebook bestseller!
Meet Emma, the new Mum on the block. Since moving to the Liverpudlian seaside after her husband's career change, her life consists of the following: long walks on the beach (with the dog), early nights (with the kids) and Netflix (no chill).
Bored and lonely, when Emma is cordially invited to the exclusive cool school-mums' book club, she thinks her luck may finally be about to change. But she soon finds the women of the club aren't quite what they seem - and after an unfortunate incident involving red wine and a white carpet, she finds herself unceremoniously kicked out.
The answer? Start her own book club - for bad mothers who just want to drink wine and share stories. But will this town let two book clubs exist? Or is there only room for one queen of the school gates...?
Perfect for fans of Why Mummy Drinks.

Cat’s life has hit a brick wall. Since her ex ditched her without ceremony five years ago she’s quit stand-up comedy, landed in a steady but dull job, and lives in a tiny flat with roommates she knows only as The One Who Eats All My Food and The One Who Has Really Loud Sex.

More of Harry and Joe's weird* and hilarious comments and quotes.
* Joe's are particularly weird and sometimes a bit scary. Don't worry - he's ok, just eccentric. And five.

Not sure home education is right for you? Nor was Keris Stainton...
Keris Stainton had never really considered home education. It just seemed too radical. Eccentric. Different. Weird.
But it's estimated that over 50,000 children are home educated in the UK and this figure is rising by 65% per year - they can't all be weirdos, can they?
Turns out that deciding to take her 7-year-old son out of school was the perfect way to find out.
This book is a collection of Keris's blog posts over two years of blogging about her family's (hugely positive) experience of home education. It also includes interviews with other home educating families, because one of the most interesting things about home ed is that everyone does it differently.
Absolute GOLD, guaranteed to make you smile. Just buy it, read a bit everyday and brighten your life.-- V K Evans
Harry: "I knew this day would come!" Me: "What day?" Harry: "Today!"
"Kids say the funniest things." We know this, right? And my kids do say lots of funny things. They make me laugh, they make their father laugh, they make themselves laugh. And, thanks to my blog, they seem to make other people laugh too. Loads of times, over the past few years, people have said I should put Harry and Joe's quotes into a book. They were probably just saying that, but I did it anyway...
Told Harry off for being cheeky and he said, “Don’t worry. Tomorrow I will be as delightful as a carrot!”
