Well for starters it’s very easy to assemble because I did all by myself (proud mom moment) because my husband wasn’t home (and I’m impatient). The width of the boards is very narrow, for some reason I thought it would be wider. My two year old cannot walk independently but if I were to turn the boards, the width would be perfect (FYI you can’t turn them). The turtles are cute but I do agree like others have said, sometimes it’s hard to make it squeak and why only make one make noise? If you have some money to blow I would say buy it, my husband saw it and said he could have made it for less.

So.... I raise and breed Flemish Giant rabbits at my farm in WV. They are spoiled . Obviously. They love to climb and run around. This is perfect for a starter climber. I added astroturf on the steps so they wouldn’t get paws caught. I have 8 of these so far for all of my boys. Not sure how a toddler would l climb the steps as the space in between is VERY narrow. But most kids just climb on top without the stairs. The slide is perfect for a 20 pound rabbit.... not too slick but just enough. Also, it has a low center of gravity. Finally, great space underneath for hiding from mom.... or avoiding lockdown at night😂

The wood is rough, unsanded. The connections are unstable. Only one of the beams offers the ability to use as a wobble board. And the piece that connects to the turtle to form a wobble sticks out when used as a beam.So fingers crossed a kid doesn’t fall at that spot. The beams are so thin, they’re maaaaybe a third the width of any other balance beam product I’ve ever seen. I wa sexpecting so much more from KidKraft, whose products I am usually impressed with. I loved the idea of this product. I love anything that gets my kids moving. But this is not it. I’m very disappointed and honestly scared to use this from a safety stand point.

My 18 month old is having a blast with this. He climbs and slides till he just can't anymore. It's super easy to put together, took me less than 10 minutes by myself. If you can't figure out how it goes together, then bless your heart. The slide isn't attached with screws, it hangs on whichever side you want. The hooks are sturdy, we've had no issues and it's nice to take it off or switch sides sometimes. It's a good size, not too big or small and is fairly lightweight but not crappy. We play with it inside mostly but I can easily take it outside too. My son can kinda pick it up and turn it over, but it is not going flip or anything on its own. We've had this for about 2 months now and still love it.

Fun toy but could be improved

This is the perfect size for my 14 month old. He's having a lot of fun with it so far. There are a couple things that could make it a lot better though.

One: I wish instead of the sculpted frog face, it was flat on the sides because the bigger kids want to lay the bridge part on its side to use it as part of their pillow forts and pretend store and stuff. It could have a much more diverse life as a toy if it could be laid on its side.

Two: I am a little nervous that he's going to pinch his fingers between the top on the slide and the platform since it shifts very easily and makes a small gap that could pinch skin or tiny fingers. He hasn't done it yet, but I suspect it's just a matter of time.

This was super easy to assemble and a great price for what you get. Very sturdy and well made. A huge plus is having the option to use as a climber and slide or remove the slide and just use the climber part. My toddler has a ball on this and we can easily move it outside or inside and room to room as it’s lightweight. I have recommended this to many other parents for their little ones!

So easy to put together right out of the box and so easy for my kids to set up when they want to use it. Very pleased with this purchase, highly recommend if you've got bored young kids. Both my 2.5yr old and 5yr old use it. The wood stain isn't perfect on the beams but I didn't get it to put it on display, I got it to step on, so it's still 5 stars in my book. No word on durability yet, will update review if it crumbles, so far so good.
