(Region A/1 BluRay)

This is a fantastic series and well worth watching.

Seasons 1-4 on BluRay were barebones with the episodes and subtitles in English and Dutch (for some reason).

Season 5 on BluRay is even more phoned-in with no subtitles whatsoever. This may be an issue if you are hearing impaired. I'm not sure why subtitles aren't included at all.

I would've liked to have seen a third disc with some extras on it but once again, nothing at all.

Love the characters and the show, but this Blu-ray collection is sub par. Killjoys dialog is fast-paced, off the cuff, and laced with SF technical jargon, This collection, like Season 4 before it, comes without closed captioning of any kind. I watched it all, but don't quiz me on the finer points of what happened. I couldn't sort it out. We all know SyFy can do better. Looks as though the Prime streaming version is captioned, so WHY not the discs?

Contrary to the specs listed on the back of the package, this blu-ray disk has no subtitles or captions. Very annoying.
The menu is extremely simplistic, consisting of one panel where the episode to play can be selected. So it looks like the studio spent as little as possible to get the season 5 disk pressed and released.
At least they released it on blu-ray. The picture quality is definitely blu-ray quality (and better than the SciFi broadcasts I still had on my DirecTV DVR).

The three-star rating is for the Season 5 product. The series itself is worth five-stars to me. I'm glad the fifth season actual got made.

Two disk blu ray. No specials whatsoever. Box description indicates subtitles. No. No subtitles at all. No close caption at all. If you need subtitles, get the dvd edition. If I could give a negative 10, I would. As it is, one star only and only because it can't go lower.

Part way through the final season and I'm not disappointed....action packed. Sad to see it end

As I have indicated on the other two reviews I am very glad I got all five season so I can watch them in the boon docks. The Blu-ray has great quality and I totally enjoying seeing the season I didn't get to see. I recommend this one!

I have to agree with Lee Thompson's review. Even though the box says English subtitles, there is no menu and no subtitles. Only episode selection. While I have enjoyed this series, its frustrating for me to be able to understand so little of it without the subtitles, and I purchased the Blu-ray version specifically in hopes of getting at least that much. Oh well.

Glad they finished up on bluray such a great show and love the quality on blurays
