Lo que no me parece es su precio para lo que es, y el nombre de Amazon en el borde, le quita elegancia al a su presentación.

Not a Secure Hold

Love the feel of it, but it's doesn't hold the kindle oasis securely. Had mine sitting opened on the corner of the countertop. And I guess the corner that was slightly over the edge had the thicker heavier part, cause. It ended up tipping over and falling screen first on the ground onto a glass surface. It actually fell out of the case upon impact. Nothing was damaged. But I had a basic kindle with a case that I have dropped dozens of times and it has never so much as budged a millimeter from its case. For a $40 case I expected much better.

The fabric cover does feel nice and is the biggest reason I bought it. But it does had a rough grain feeling to it. Don't expect a super soft fabric feeling.

It may sound weird to say this is my new favorite cover - it’s awesome! I absolutely adore my Kindle Oasis — I have had a Kindle since they were launched. I honestly don’t think I could go a day without one now. I know, I know… It’s an electronic gadget…

I have tried many many many covers. I think this is the best one yet!

For my Oasis - I originally got the leather cover. ( regular… Not premium ) I love the feel of that case… Sure, it develops scratches bumps and looked worn very quickly.. I expected that. But then the dye of the leather actually started bleeding onto my fingers/things in my purse etc. It had never been wet. I took care of it. After it just looked horrible I wanted to try something else… I went for the blue case. I have not regretted it since I got it. I love the feel of it! I love that you can fold the front cover back and it really doesn’t add any more book to the Kindle at all.

Hey sleep/wake feature is perfect.. Never had a problem. The feel of the case in your hand is very lightweight and doesn’t add bulk. I prefer this case because I never really liked holding onto the metal of the back of the Kindle. After almost slipping and dropping it one day… That was enough to scare me. Plus, it got to the point where I would just pull off the leather case while reading. Not with this case, though! It is easy to takeoff… But I’m not interested in that. Everyone has different ways of holding Kindle depending on their preference. Honestly, I open mine and hold it like a book. Sometimes I fold the cover back - just as easy to hold.

I picked up the blue version and line it almost looks like denim- which I love! It was a hard decision between the red or the blue.

If you have the leather cover and want to try something different… Give this a chance! I feel like my Oasis is much much more protected.

I may not have needed a cover for my Kindle but I'm a klutz, so I decided to get one and this one does the job just fine. It does activate the sleep mode as advertised, and while I've not spilled much around it, the small droplets of water I have dropped on it don't soak in and wipe away easily.

Well-Fitting Case Offers Great Protection(So Far)

I love this case, and the fact that it fits the Kindle all-the-way-around, and the entire back and sides are also covered. It's also very light-weight, although it does seem sturdy. I will admit it being so light-weight did worry me some initially, but I have gotten used to that, and it doesn't worry me quite as much anymore. I wish I had known about these cases being available for my Kindle Oasis back when I purchased it initially, as I likely would have chosen this one instead of the leather cover I purchased alongside the Kindle Oasis. It is offering great protection so far, if you are considering this particular case and have stumbled across this review, I must be honest and say that while I love this case at the moment, and it is holding up rather well, I have not had it very long so I cannot vouch for long-term durability. I may at some point give an update as to how I like it in the future, but that may not be for awhile yet

I don't recall ever dropping my Kindle. I assumed someone else in my family dropped it until the 2nd corner started crumbling away. The return window has passed and there is zero warranty on this cover. The first corner crumbled off after about 6 months. This cover is expensive, especially if it's only expected to last a few months. I don't even consider myself an avid reader and I only remember this Kindle leaving my house once. I would say this cover just got light use for these few months. When I order a replacement, it will not be one of these and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a Kindle Oasis cover.

I'm a little disappointed the charge doesn't last as long as my Paperwhite - on the other hand, I'm retired now, and reading a LOT more, so that might play a part! I have wrist and neck issues so the lighter weight is great. Also larger reading screen; compared a page with same font between Paperwhite and my new Oasis and there was significantly more on the page with the Oasis. Love that it's reversible since I like to hold with my left hand - downside is that I have turned it off a couple times since the button is now on the bottom with it reversed, and if my knee hits it, it goes off! Overall very pleased - this was my retirement present to myself!
