My heart aches throughout this entire book, I am happy however with the direction it took, the previous reviews left me wanting to drop the series altogether HOWEVER (spoilers ahead), I under stand why a certain someone went crazy, his pain and years of anguish consumed him. While it doesn’t excuse him, I hope he finds peace and redeems himself. Everyone who has fallen down a dark path deserves a chance for happiness and a way back to the light. Also a broken heart can make anyone lose themselves in despair. And he has had all the love in his life taken away in some way. (I also believe he truly did love Hav, but it wasn’t the same love that Hav was asking for)
ALL that aside I am for sure team Stol and Hav. Since book one. There was no doubt he was the best choice. While I sympathize with the other interest in the book, Stol despite being dark was always the best choice for Hav. He never lied, never hid himself, or asked Hav to hide herself. He never took away her choice (maybe called her foolish) but he let Hav guide herself instead of controlling her. He was also VERY respectful when Hav had another on her heart.
All in all loved this, glad I kept going :)
