In this fantastical thriller, five young teens tapped as models for theme park "guides" find themselves pitted against Disney villains and witches that threaten both the future of Walt Disney World and the stability of the world outside its walls. Using a cutting-edge technology called DHI--which stands for both Disney Host Interactive and Daylight Hologram Imaging--Finn Whitman, an Orlando teen, and four other kids are transformed into hologram projections that guide guests through the park. The new technology turns out, however, to have unexpected effects that are both thrilling and scary. Soon Finn finds himself transported in his DHI form into the Magic Kingdom at night. Is it real? Is he dreaming?
Finn's confusion only increases when he encounters Wayne, an elderly Imagineer who tells him that the park is in grave danger. Led by the scheming witch, Maleficent, a mysterious group of characters called the Overtakers is plotting to destroy Disney's beloved realm, and maybe more.

But it wasn't long into this first book here that I realized that this was unique.
It had a bit of everything a YA book could and should have.
It has a good story line, good mystery, great characters, good versus evil, heroes versus villains, old and new technology, but mostly a sit on the edge of your chair excitement and expectations.
And it was all very relatable.
Good job Mr. Pearson, good job indeed!
Sincerely,
Alan McDonald
A must for Disney lovers of all ages. Now, if we could just get Disney to make them into movies . . .

I enjoy harry potter, Twilight, the darke Academy and other teenage aimed books. This one is written the most simplest out of all of them but is still a good read as the story is interesting and it does leave you wanting to read one more chapter. I just need the rest of the series now!

The author takes you on a great ride around the Magic Kingdom as your heroes try to say the day. He enlightens you with parts of the park that most people don't realise exist.
I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone.
