Jason Stanley is Professor of Philosophy at Rutgers University, a member of the Rutgers University Center for Cognitive Science, and an Associate Faculty member of the Rutgers University Department of Linguistics. He is also a quarter-time Professorial Fellow at the University of St. Andrews. He has
previously held positions at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor and Cornell University.

Born in Syracuse, New York, Jason Stanley received his BA from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Stanley is now the Jacob Urowsky Professor of Philosophy at Yale University.
