"One of the most delightful read-aloud picture books on the shelf. Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale is hilarious and the emotions of all involved are captured perfectly in Mo Willems brilliant illustrations. Even after multiple reads this one retains it's charm." - Seira Wilson, Amazon Editor
Trixie, Daddy, and Knuffle Bunny take a trip to the neighborhood Laundromat. But the exciting adventure takes a dramatic turn when Trixie realizes somebunny was left behind?
Using a combination of muted black-and-white photographs and expressive illustrations, this stunning book tells a brilliantly true-to-life tale about what happens when Daddy's in charge and things go terribly, hilariously wrong.

Pros:
Visually attractive
Graphic design - a gentle introduction to the little one of this type of art
Good quality printing
Easy to understand situations
Fun humour for both parent and child
Cons:
There's no real moral lesson to be learnt here - it a simple story of losing and finding a toy
I don't think you would want to read this story again and again - most suitable for occasional reading

Like all good texts it does work on several levels and from a parent's perspective it is so true and funny I guarantee you will laugh aloud in empathy.

I have given this book to numerous friends whose children have all loved it. The combination of wonderful drawings by Mo Willems against the backdrop of black and white photographs of Brooklyn are great and rarely seen.

Amazon, replaced the book free of charge. So, all good in the end.
The book is being read at my son's school, and we decided to read it at home as well
