This is the Konig Converter VHS-C to VHS Black (NOT Suitable for 8mm Tapes) [KN-VHS-C-ADAPT]
Insert a VHS-C tape into the adapter to record or watch it with a standard VHS video recorder. It takes a penlite battery to automatically open the front to load or unload a tape. ...Contact us if you need more help.

I searched for an adapter and I came across the Konig VHS-C Cassette Adapter on Amazon. The next item that I needed was an ADC and I found the EasyCap USB Analog to Digital Converter on Souq.com. The next item on the list was a VHS player and I found a Sony unit with a friend which was in excellent condition!
And, thus began my project to convert all the VHS cassettes that had been lying unused gathering dust in my cupboard.
I was a bit skeptical about the Konig VHS-C Cassette Adapter but it performed flawlessly and the first cassette that I converted was the the VHS-C one with the birthday video on it.
A: 🚫WARNING READ THIS BEFORE PURCHASING 🚫This converter did NOT work with my JVC VHS-C tape! My tape went in perfectly into the converter....when inserted into my VCR it would automatically eject from my VCR. When I tried to remove my tape from the converter the door would not open....I even tried changing the AA battery, still would not open.
I had already informed Amazon on my return...Soooo!
I had to remove the back of the converter to rescue my tape!!!! It took two frustrating hours to do this!!!! I hope people read my review before ordering this converter! The description of this item is completely and absolutely deceiving‼️ see less
You have to be slow & careful I have found with these. Patient putting VHS-C tapes straight down into adapter & case straight into VCR slowly/carefully. Maybe move the white notched circle on bottom of the VHS-C while in the case a little more centered if you have a problem. I'd never used or dubbed VSH-Cs before.
But I got all my Granddaughter's mother's Tapes done for her Christmas gift to her mother because this brand worked. Scared from reviews & having to return the Panasonic that I would not be able to do the dubbing for her. & nothing else I saw was available to buy. (Maybe some more expensive options? ) So I feel good & relieved now. The Konig seemed a hair more sturdy than the Panasonic. I had noticed it was the brand a dubbing company on uTube was using. So I zoomed in on ad & ordered the Konig. I’m so happy. You can get it done with this one if slow & careful. & hold your breath & pray as I did. ;). If you have had one not work & you really need to do the project as I did you know what I mean. I am happy I found this brand. (Happy it’s done ;).
It uses AA batteries like the old one. Press the tab beside the pop-up window/cover and the lid opens to allow entry of a VHS-C cassette. Push the transparent, plastic lid down and you'll hear the little motor open the business end of the tape and pull it out to where it can be read by any VHS tape player.
It's not perfect and sometimes I had to open the lid, pull out the cassette out and try again to get it right. But, there was never a cassette I couldn't get to work. Usually once was enough, but on a few occasions I had to open it up and do-over. Regardless, I could get all of them to work.
This product does what it's supposed to do. It's inexpensive. It never damaged any of the old cassettes. Four stars.

Definitely cheaper to use this than to let a service do it for me.
My tapes are Super VHS-C so, check before you purchase that if you have the same, you have a Super VHS Recorder available to be able to play them back. I notice the price now has increased since my purchase which was on a short term special offer.
Pagato a marzo 2018: 21,93€.
