Replaced a Marinco 50A receptacle that was installed improperly by Camping World (they used rivets instead of screwing it in through the wall and in to backing). I like this unit because it has a light and the prongs do not succumb to heat the way others do. It is also provides a better fit and doesn't leak during heavy rain. I have had this connector on other travel trailers and never had issues. I added a double gang waterproof plate for added reinforcement and waterproofing.

Like numerous people I failed to move the power cord before putting out the 5er. slide and broke off the cover to the Furrion RV/Trailer 50AMP power inlet (Amazon Furrion F52INS-BS-AM Black Square 50 Amp 125/250V RV Inlet with Stainless Steel Plate and Power Smart LED)
When broken it left exposed live wires which powered the LED light on the cover so 2 day free prime shipping was a must, easy install direct fit replacement 4 Phillip head screws to remove the entire unit 2 Phillip head screws to remove the protective inside bonnet 4 flat blade screws to remove/replace the 4 wires. Total time 1/2 hour Furrion F52INS-BS-AM Black Square 50 Amp 125/250V RV Inlet with Stainless Steel Plate and Power Smart LED

Living in an area with frequent power outage, I needed a good plug to backfeed my panel with my portable 9500-11000 watt 50-amp generator (breaker lockout/interlock REQUIRED for panel). Used a 6x6x4 junction box & 2.5" hole saw for mounting in solid cover plate of box. The 6x6x4 box has plenty of room for connecting the plug with my 6/3 + 8/1 cord.

Plug (gray) is quality made & looks good too. Closely matches junction box color. Can also remove the panel interlock & use as electric car charger if I ever sell to someone with the need.

The build quality is top notch and I loved that they also included the torque values for the screws that hold your cabling. I installed 4/3 wire into mine without a problem. Keep up the great work.
