Without The Last Drive-in With Joe Bob Briggs, October is just "warm November"
October isn't the month of Halloween without Joe Bob Briggs to introduce us all to horror movies we kinda-never-really heard of! There aren't enough scary movies out there to keep us entertained, but we know more of them now thanks to this brilliant show.

My one complaint is that Joe Briggs (as super cool a dude as he is) does a lot of talking that turns into droning on and on during movie breaks...I wish he could keep these intermissions more concise and stick to the point! But also, bravo to the awesome guest speakers!

Absolutely amazing.
The show has ambitions to educate you a bit about the film and to entertain you through 4 or 5 segments in the film on show. The movies make up the brunt of what you are going to see here, but it's pretty awesome to see the host talk about personal connections, history, and everything else along with the film at specific points. These are mostly films that one usually doesn't mind taking breaks from, and Joe Bob is the perfect host to entertain some of your questions.

This is ultimate drive-in horror picked from mostly the best of the crop or in the least some of the infamous and more creative pieces from the last century of time. The quality is overall great for a streaming service. Don't expect UHD quality, but what they have here for the brunt of films is very good with nice resolution.

Go through the seasons and pick what you want. Don't watch it in linear fashion. There are tons of films, many better than others. Follow your favorite directors and actors and you will find something worthwhile. First rate experience.

Comfort Food Viewing
Watching this is like watching a movie with a friend. The interstitials are interesting and well presented in a thoughtful, respectful way that is often lacking in mainstream coverage of genre movies. The movies themselves vary greatly in quality, but the selections are well thought out, so they're rarely boring even when they're not otherwise great. The drive-in will never die.

One of the better commentary shows out there
This review is only about the quality of the Joe Bob backdrop. The man does such an amazing job relating everything you might want to know about the back stories of films and offers a funny take on a lot of things relating to the films. He also occasionally has on people related to the movie or other special guests and that adds a whole extra layer to why this show is great! I only gave it four stars because some of the jokes he makes are lame and in order to pad out the show he has sidekicks. The mail "girl" really just makes we want to skip ahead whenever she's on because she seems like she's only there because it pays better than porn and she doesn't really ever bring anything to the show besides cleavage.
