In addition to live teaching, I knew I needed extra practice that my students can complete on a device. This is where BOOM Cards come in! I created a set of Letters Boom Card6 months ago Read more

All the letter tiles are face down, so my kids had so much fun guessing the letter they would draw next and then turning over a letter tile.
Setting Up Your Sensory Bin To prepare this activity, you will fill half of a bin with sand. Then, you will add the blue letter tiles inside the second half of the bin. All7 months ago Read more -

Simple, colorful stories teach essential reading skills to kids ages 3 to 5
Help your little one learn to read by associating sounds with groups of letters in imaginative stories. Brightly illustrated scenes encourage kids to recognize and sound out short words like “pet,” “wet,” and “jet.” Every mini story is followed by two activities that reinforce the phonics lesson. Understanding the common word patterns in this storybook will put your child on the path to becoming a confident reader!
Inside the Learn to Read: Phonics Storybook, you’ll find:
- 25 Silly stories―Colorful stories introduce phonics skills progressively from easy to more challenging, engaging your child’s brain as they learn to read.
- Common word families―Tales like The Big Pig and Let’s Sled are told in simple sentences based around one or two word families, like -it, -ad, and -eck.
- Educational activities―After every story, your young reader can practice by tracing letters and identifying words in activities like mazes and word searches.
Go beyond other phonics books for beginning readers with charming stories that teach as they entertain!
