The protractor itself worked perfectly for the course I bought it for. I’m so grateful for the reviews stating that the magnets were too weak to hold the weight of it up. This could be due to the construction of the white board, but I didn’t want to take any chances as this was a HIGH paying customer.

I ordered the following magnet in addition
KYGNE 20Pack Neodymium Disc Magnets, Super Strong Rare Earth Magnets with 20Pack Adhesive Backing, for Fridge, Scientific, Crafts, DIY, Office, 1.26”D X 0.08”H
I removed the tape magnet strips and put 4 of the magnets on with the included adhesive strips. It worked perfectly and I could confidently walk away from the protractor without fear of it sliding.

The protractor worked exactly as I needed it to and greatly improved the customer’s learning experience

The magnet isn't strong enough for the protractor to actually stay put on the board without holding it in place. What's the point of that? If I didn't desperately need a large protractor immediately, I would have returned it.

I bought this for a project at work three months ago but never used it. However, my kids are using it every day! It is really nice. The magnet holds it on the white board, but the handle make moving it or sliding it on the white board easy. It's great to measure or draw lines. I was not compensated in any way for this review and paid full price for this.

The magnets do not hold this protractor to my whiteboard. It slides right down to the marker tray when I let go. I will use hot glue to attach stronger magnets, but I shouldn’t have to.
