The closest we had previously come to keeping a lizard was watching "Walking With Dinosaurs", so clearly some urgent research was needed and this book was where I began.
It has enough information to get set-up and start feeding, which was essential in the early days; Sneaky had arrived sans tail and had clearly encountered a predator prior to her arrival, so getting her settled and feeding was key to her survival after the initial visit to the vet.
In summary I would say that this book is a good place to start, and the recommendations of further information in particular were invaluable.
Here’s hoping for a good read, and a wealth of knowledge to keep them fit and healthy !
