Lethal Temptation is the next book in the Rifle Creek series and it is fabulous! If you haven’t read Lethal Edge, you will be missing out on , not only an excellent story, but also a lot of background for this story!
Avery is a divorced police officer and is not even interested in dating. Mason is a medically discharged special forces soldier with PTSD and an emotional support dog, Ricochet. Avery needs a date for a weekend of wedding activities and Mason agrees to be her fake boyfriend.
Things don’t go as planned for Avery over the weekend, and she goes home with a stalker and a fake boyfriend who could possibly turn into so much more. As their relationship grows, so does the stalker’s need for revenge!
As the story closes, we get a glimpse into the next book in the series, Lethal Protector. I can’t wait for Tala’s and Braxton’s story !

Avery Dahl, a detective who'd finally had her life back on track after a painful divorce. She was about to risk her heart again with the sexy as sin veteran whom she'd decided to bring to a family member's upcoming wedding as her fake boyfriend. He was charming and was starting to break down her walls, but she was still holding her ground.Mason Gallant suffered a terrible accident during his tour which ended his military career way earlier than he'd expected. He was struggling as a civilian, that was untim him and his friends/brothers in arms decided to open up a business in Rifle Creek. He never thought he would meet a woman like detective Avery Dahl, she invaded his thoughts. So when she nneded help, he step up to the plate.As they played their roles, both of them realized that things were becoming more rdal than they thought. Avery began getting threats and he was willing to do whatever it took to protect her even if it meant he got hurt in the process.The culprit was a misguided soul, who wanted to harm Avery for doing her job. Mason wasn't about to let anyone hurt the woman he cared about, come what may. With the help of an unexpected person, together they got the enemy.Mason along with his best-friends, Tate (LETHAL EDGE) and Braxton were extremely happy about the development of their new project, Rifle Creek Tactical. Even Tala was offered to be a part of it which inyrigued her.Loved the bond between Nina, Tala and Avery.
