Władziu Valentino Liberace The Legend!

Stands alone as Mr. Showmanship, his flamboyant style and musical talent drew millions to his Las Vegas shows. Selling out Radio City in record time.

Liberace's talent as a musician is unarguable!

I came to know of Liberace through his museum in Las Vegas. Fascinated by the volume of antiques he collected. His cars UNBELIEVABLE.
Attending his concert Liberace performed Chopin Magnificent.

What a life, what a career his personal decisions in life have NO BEARING on his talent nor his contributions to music.

To this day decades after his passing piano players the world over are asked [who do you think you are? Liberace]

Liberace's, philantrophic generosity are EPIC. Leaving millions for aspiring artist to further their training.

Now that's a fruitful life, forever impacting the advancement & continuation of life's greatest joy.
The Arts!

What a masterpiece. Highly recommend this fun, happy, bio of a great, natural performer who narrated it himself for the most part. Great music, great guests, and skits, and a great story from birth to death of his amazing career. Love Liberace! Love the way this depicts him with face-to-face interactions with his audiences. They cherished this loving man.

Good, but could have been better.

Liberace was the king of showmanship. Even people who were not particular fans of his music were enthralled by his entertaining presentation. He dominated the stage wherever he appeared. Nobody could come close. As much as I did love this biography, I felt that it was a bit too superficial, although somewhat entertaining. If you are a mega-fan, you will find this satisfying, since you probably already know all there is to know about Liberace. I just found myself wishing that there was something more to it.

Nice video of a great piano player and showman.

Such a great piano player and showman! I had made plans to see him play in NY, but unfortunately he passed away before I got to see him. At least with these videos made of him and his music, I can still enjoy.

Good for the Price

For the money it is not a bad buy, but I recommend Tony Palmer’s World of Liberace if you were to only buy one DVD on Liberace. Most of the interviews with Liberace come from the Palmer DVD and since that one was made in 1972, this DVD does not have much of Liberace talking for the last 14 years of his life. To the credit of the makers of this DVD, they could have been crass or tactless when dealing with Liberace’s death; instead, they stated simply that he died after a long struggle with illness. Classy move - that alone merited the purchase.
