I personally think they totally miscast the female lead. Cara had absolutely no chemistry with the male lead, Jaden Smith. The lack of chemistry really made the film miss the heart of the story. Jaden Smith, I thought did a good job with his acting and he was cute to watch, but Cara, not so much. Her character was almost unlikeable. There were so many moments where the film could have gone to more of a heartwarming experience but then fell flat. It's not completely horrible and it is watchable, I was just expecting more.

Definitely wayyy better than I thought it was going to be. I thought it would follow a similar "cheesy" one track trope and not stand alone at all compared to the other films that have almost the same plot. However, there were definitely moments that set it apart and gave the film its own identity from other similar plots and storylines. I was surprised by how much I actually enjoyed it and the chemistry between the two leads. I look forward to seeing Jaden in other films as well too.

I was unaware this movie was coming out until this morning when I saw it on my social media stream. I knew I had to watch it. The acting was phenomenal and believable from Every Single Cast Member. The film was equal parts inspirational, sad, and hilarious. Jaden did a PHENOMENAL job. The only other movie I've seen him in was Pursuit of Happyness years ago, and I remember being blown away even though he was extremely young. He's still got it, and it was amazing seeing his evolution. Cuba's character was also amazing, and even supporting characters like Rza, Nia, Phil,and Jaden's two friends struck a chord and were integral parts of the whole production. The leading actress was phenomenal as well. I cried during several scenes. I laughed out loud at certain scenes. Very well put together. Check it out!

There's A TON of movies where their plots are of a sick couple or person who then dies and also A TON of robot, alien and super hero movies, some movies will resemble others but I mean what movie out there isn't? I absolutely love it, had to hold back my tears while watching it! Jaden and Cara did a good job, couldn't have casted this any better! The plot of a father pursuing his dreams through his son plus his sick girl friend, love it. Would watch again!

I don't feel like I wasted my time watching it.... It is worth the watch!

I personally really enjoyed this movie. I think it is definitely worth the watch if you like romance (get ya all up in your feelings) movies.

I adore Jaden Smith, I think he's incredibly talented and charismatic which is the main reason I wanted to see this movie, however, as likable as Cara Delevingne was in Carnival Row, I don't feel she was the right choice for the character of Isabelle. She's just not likeable, and I was bummed, because I really wanted to like this movie.
