Colors not very bright
Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2018
Kind of meets expectations, but a little disappointed that the colors aren't very bright. I used a Kill-a-watt energy usage meter and when running the warm-white light setting at full brightness the bulb is only drawing 5watts, not the described 10watts. Then when choosing a color besides warm-white, the bulb is drawing 1watt. I'd say that reflects in the brightness of the bulb. The colors appear to be much much dimmer than the full bright setting for warm-white. With that being said, the warm-white at full bright matches the brightness of other normal non-colored LED bulbs in our house with the same warmth as well.
Additionally, the bulb is described as 120 colors, but its more like 61 colors. When you toggle through the colors on the remote there are only about 60 settings. Of course there are varying levels of brightness for the colors, but it doesn't really change the overall color, just a dimmer version. Maybe when it is in cycle mode there are 120 colors, but it appears there are only 60 user selectable colors. 60 is fine with me. It hits all of the holiday colors and then some extras that my kids like.
I do like the levels of dimming on the warm-white setting. The low is pretty low.
Overall, I wish the colors were as bright as the warm-white color on full brightest, but oh well. These bulbs will be fine for their purpose of exterior holiday lights.
