She has published print, video, and online articles at Famifi (100+ million followers), Crosswalk, (In)Courage, QARA.org (leadership for millennial's), LifeWay, and more. Using the popular stress-relief coloring combined with Scripture for both adults and children to delight over, this has become "so much more than a coloring book." Her nonfiction book releases October 2019 titled "Refine and Restore: Revive Your Heart, Release Your Purpose." She speaks on popular topics such as pursuing your God-given purpose, understanding your spiritual gifts, overcoming anxiety, and writing workshops for aspiring authors.
Additionally, Rachel holds a Bachelors of science degree in Nutrition with an emphasis in pre-medicine from Cal Poly State University, San Luis Obispo California. According to StrengthFinders testing her top 5 strengths are: learner, input, activator, intellection, futuristic. She also ranks an ENFJ, one of the rarer personality types and an ideal mix facilitating her creative entrepreneurial spirit.
Married for thirteen years to her husband, they rear their tribe of "Wannabe Triplets" and their Weimaraner (dog) who thinks she's human. They recently took a leap of faith moving from the bustling sprawl of Southern California to the rural hills of Southern Idaho.

From my 7 year-old daughter: "I like it! I really love that there's lots of coloring. And I like the grids and that it gives step-by-step instructions. I like the describing words of the Bible characters. Like, 'she was patient'."

Each of these devotionals is pair for an adult and a child to do together. There is a short devotional reading with a few short questions or something to think about for both the adult and the child. And then there are similar activities that are either for an adult or a child: crossword puzzles, word search puzzles, mazes, search and find pictures, coloring pictures, word scrambles and more.
The Big and Little Activity Devotional is a fun book to use with a variety of ages. It gives parents a little one on one time with each of the kids as you sit across from each other and do the activities and the readings together. I think this is a great idea to spend time together. I also like that there is a real variety of activities for both age ranges. I love to do puzzles and to color so I find it to be just as fun as the kids.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions within this review are my own.
The Big and Little Activity Devotional offers spiritual refreshment, creative growth, lots of fun, and joyful memories as children and the adults in their lives spend time together. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, older siblings, and caregivers will enjoy this book with the little ones in their lives.
I very highly recommend this wonderful resource for families. I'm looking forward to sharing the Big and Little Activity Devotional with my grandchildren.
