The illustrations are pretty and colorful. With Rumble being the cutest triceratops! There's a story line (illogical for adults as there's no way you can run around a whole valley in 10 minutes with a volcano eruption lol) but little one loves it and picked up new vocabs right away.
I do wish that there is a board book version because these pages will wear out very soom with this constantly reading!
Side note: to get some of the lines to rhyme (like my OCD brain demands) pronounce “mom” like “mum” (think British). It flows much better :)
Counting and intuitive rhymes had our toddler saying parts of the book back to us, while we read it, the first week we had the it.
