Editorial Reviews

From School Library Journal

PreS—Sturdy pages and a simple counting story build up to the grand finale. The text counts up to five and back down to one as Little Blue Truck delivers trees up and down the hills, through the snow to his animal friends. He keeps the last for himself—and it lights up. The book will appeal to fans of the series, and it could also be a fun, if slight, addition to a baby/preschool holiday storytimes with the big payoff of the lit tree.—Anne Connor, Los Angeles Public Library --This text refers to the board_book edition.

Review

“Little Blue’s fans will enjoy the animal sounds and counting opportunities, but it’s the sparkling lights on the truck’s own tree that will put a twinkle in a toddler’s eyes.” Kirkus --This text refers to the board_book edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars My 3 year old is obsessed with the Halloween edition
By Danielle on November 15, 2022
My 3 year old LOVES Little Blue Truck's Halloween. She will be thrilled when she opens this on Christmas! The book arrived in great condition. It's not wrapped or protected in the box, though. There's a pull tab on the back to activate the twinkle lights.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not a board book
By Melissa Valenzuela on November 12, 2022
My 2.5 year old loves the Little Blue Truck series so of course he loves this book, especially the lights at the end. Altho we love it, it’s not a board book it’s more of thick paper (like stock cards or a tab thicker). Because of the type of paper a baby/young toddlers could definitely rip or bend the pages.
