The Crayon functions largely the same as the actual Apple pencil, featuring the same low latency and wrist detection. As someone who's been using the Apple pencil for the last couple of years this felt very similar if not identical to the original's functionality. This is using Apple's pencil hardware which is better than the many capacitive based styluses out there.
The Crayon will mirror the Apple pencil's ability to do an angled/tilted line in apps that support it but the Crayon does not support Apple's pressure detection. The lack of pressure sensitivity means this is not a good choice for artists but it should function just fine for notetakers and children. I also like that it can be shut off to preserve its rechargeable battery.
Overall this is an excellent alternative to the Apple branded stylus. Here's the full compatibility list:

I love how it’s flat. It makes it easier to hold. I am used to the hexagonal pencil which provides a lot of grip and stability. Also, I’ve tried other stylus from here and none of them come close to Logi Crayon. There is no gap where the tip of the stylus is to where it actually registers on the screen. That means, you’ll see a dot where you place the tip at, and not about a millimeter away. It also has a good weight to it. Again, this adds to the quality of the product. I can go on and on about this. Suffice to say, it’s an excellent value for your money. By the way, I am using this on my 3rd Generation iPad Pro 12.9”.
Two things that I don’t really care about, but is worth mentioning, are 1) it has no pressure sensitivity and, 2) it is not able to activate the switcher bar or bring up the app dock. Thee are two very minor things that aren’t a huge deal for me. Perhaps it is a big deal for others.

You have a light indicator on the pen, and it does not indicate if the pen is on or not, what's the point of the light?
The light turns on briefly when you turn on and off the pen itself, it also shines red when the battery is low. But this implementation is just stupid. The indicator should be steadily green when on, steady red when the battery is low, and off when the pen is off.
Rest of the pen:
First gen apple pencil technology is still what it is; compared to second gen apple pencil, this iPad pen is significantly slower than the second gen apple pencil for the new and shiny iPad Pro. However, I'd say this product is "fine" in every single aspect. The tracking precision is "fine", the tracking speed is "fine", the flat shape is "fine" ergonomically, the pen tip seems to have "fine" durability, and the rubber end to enclose the lightning port is also "fine". For this price, there is little to complain about, so I give this product a "fine" out of 5.
Edit: The pencil works great!
While Stroke Eraser works fine, Medium Eraser does not and neither does Small Eraser.
Tried to get help from Logitech.com and failed. “Contact us” is so badly designed, you don’t know whether to write the issue or select the model!. In all cases you receive meaningless FAQ entries.
I also found the pen to be slippery.
I have, since, returned the item.
I don’t think the overall experience justify the price.
