It made sound well enough, but the microphone was showing as disabled in Windows 10 - there was a microphone icon, but no slider to adjust the sensitivity. I loaded the special software/driver to help and if anything it made it worse.
I eventually rebooted my computer enough times (It needed two reboots just to install the software and drivers!) and it Just Worked(tm).
Sounds nice, microphone (now working) picks up the faintest whisper - which is always better for taunting your enemies with than shouting.
I got two - one for home (gaming), and one for work (conference calls). Both uses work great, and now people in the office are jealous of my RGB...
overall, a very nice headset, i was very iffy towards the wireless aspect as i feared any kind of interruptions and communication with the dongle as well as if there was latency. though, never noticed latency or drop outs or anything when comparing to my G430 which is wired.
now, the biggest things i will say against the headset... which I've noticed the tech youtuber's and reviewer's have said the same thing i thought after i got the headset. the RGB strip is in the back of the headset and the RGB logo on the back corner of the ear cups. which is NOT why i even got the headset. ultimately useless and even for a streamer, no visual for your viewer's. so the RGB is completely useless unless you have it on a stand or something pointing towards you. the controls for the RGB are nice though.
the other thing is... the price, yes their a really good headset and wireless, but i personally feel the "Renewed" prices which i bought this at was $80 is closer to what they should be New, maybe a light bit more. only because i'm sure the RGB has some of that pricing up there when it's useless eye-candy that only those behind you or looking at the back of your head are gonna see.
one last thing i'm not a fan of, but this is personal preference. the boom mic isn't super flexible, the little bit that comes out is flexible, but i'm also very use to a mic being pretty close to parts of my jaw so i don't have to talk loud. only plus side about that, with this headset, is that i don't have to worry about the mic rubbing against my beard and it actually doesn't need to be super close to my mouth since i only use voice activation on teamspeak and discord.
i personally don't have nothing bad to say about the headset on anything except the mentioned above. overall quality is really good, did some test songs i do on every headset for my self and there was actually things i could hear that i didn't hear before. the bass is really nice which i am a fan of having. surround sound definitely seems better than my old G430's, the wireless works very well and the plus of being able to keep the USB charging cable plugged in so it's basically a wired headset at that point was nice to have.
- G935 is louder! This was the first time I needed to dial down in-game volume as previously I always wanted more volume. The G935 had way more volume than I was expecting from the headset.
- G935 has surround sound. OMG! Being able to actually hear the direction the noise is coming from has made for a more enjoyable gaming experience!
- Range! I have been surprised with how far away from my computer I can be without losing connection to the computer. If I need something from the kitchen, I don't bother taking the headset off; just up and over to the kitchen; get what I want; back to the PC... and nary an audio drop.
+ Only knock I can think of for the headset is that the comfort when wearing glasses is a bit off. If I am in a rush to put the headset on I can easily knock my glasses off; or push the glasses off my nose, as the arms of the glasses are being pushed forward by the back of the ear-cups on the headset.
My purchase was a "renewed" unit; and I have not had any operational-issues with the this unit.

Yes, they look a bit clunky and are pretty heavy, as far as high-end headphones are concerned
But the sound is amazing, battery life is OK and are extremely comfy.
I have a very large head and the clamping force is secure, but not pressing. Making these comfortable for the few hours I wear them for gaming.
