We stopped after 30 minutes

The first 30 minutes is a plotless pointless coke feast. If you like watching people snort huge amounts of coke for 30 minutes, then you'll love the first 30 minutes. I can't tell you the rest because we got board with the pointlessness and juvenile trash/sex talk and decided to watch Schitt's Creek.

Watched on Prime Video- Don’t Bother
Verified purchase
I watched it on Prime Video for free, so you don’t need to.
It was a really dumb movie, but I watched it through the end expecting that there would be some redemption, but there wasn’t. Mostly two sad sack men snorting coke in a bathroom and babbling about nonsense.
It was painful. Don’t waste your time like I did.

It's a little gem, who wudda thunk it?

It's a beautiful movie. J Biel has a just distinguishable Colombian accent that's killing, i know it too well. She may not be the most transcendent actress, but she holds her space well enough. Stratham is fantastic, really, his big soliloquy is amazing. And, don't fret, he does get to go psycho beating up on some guys. And that kid is ok too. Plenty movies, really good ones, I end up devastated and broken, but this one leaves ya feeling pretty good. Life goes on, even for the guy who can't ____ his wife.

...And Five Stars for Jessica Biel (Hoorah!)
Verified purchase
Chris Evans is heartbroken over his breakup with Jessica Biel. He goes to a party and spends about 60 minutes of the movie getting high on cocaine, building up courage to speak to her. What he really needs is drug rehab and prescription medication for his chemical imbalance. The story is sad, but I didn't feel too much for the character because he was a bit of a dirt bag.

If you don't like real conversation and are looking for action it's not for you.

At first I was repulsed, but thankfully continued to watch. When Statham enters, things slowly build to the climax of the movie.
The very realistic conversation between him and Chris later in the bathroom was brilliant. I knew Statham had it in him and it was a joy to watch him act.
It's realistic and hard, but if you like a good script, this is for you.

Phenonmanal Performances but lacking overall
Verified purchase
Everyones acting was superb and Jason Statham knocked it out of the park. Unfortunately I went into this expecting a Jason Statham movie and got an A grade General Hospital.

There is no action of any measure other than a brief altercation so the reviewer giving the snowjob did a real disservice with his review.

Uneven lost it in last act. Could have been much better.

I abandoned many times late at night but finally got past the opening and into the party and it started to get interesting. Somewhat of a breakfast club vibe but at a party and with drug use. if it had explored that more it may have been a good movie. I ust thought the very last act when they hook back up was too long and unrealistic it could have been shorter and a long kiss may have sufficed not them sleeping together . Uneven.
