I would give this book 10 stars if I could. I started reading Ivy Asher books a few months ago. The first I read was Order of the Scorpion. It was my fav book that I read last year. Since then I have read the Bone Witch series and then moved onto this one. And all I can say is OMG I LOVE IVY ASHER! Her characters are such strong kick ass girls. And they are always surrounded by super supportive dudes. And really hot and sexy too…
Such fun books. I am already reading the next book and have #3 ready. I don’t think I’m going stop reading her books until I’ve read all of them!

I am so glad I discovered this book and took a chance. It is by far one of the best books I have read. The fmc is a basa**, who takes no crap from anyone. Including the five hot guys she ends up living with after her long lost uncle discovers her in a dark parking lot after she wins a fight with a shifter. This book has suspense, drama, gore, romance, action, mystery and some steam. A must read if you enjoy kick a** heroines who are mouthy and sinfully hot guys with lots of sexual attraction....

Vinna is a likable, kick-ass heroine right from page 1 when we meet her preparing for a fight. We learn she's earned quite a sum of money in these arranged fights, besting opponents much bigger than she is. After the battle, she stumbles on a fight outside, between Casters and shifters.

From here the story gets even more interesting as she joins the Casters in their secret town, Solace. The community of Casters and shifters live under a magical barrier hiding them from the normal human (nons) world.

I found Vinna's immediate friendship and attraction to a group of young Casters difficult to accept at the beginning, but stick it; everything is explained and makes perfect sense. Especially now as I re-read the blurb and see the mention of a reverse harem! The title of the book also becomes clear.

There is a lot of swearing, but it fits with Vinna's personality and feels natural. There are also a lot of sexual references, and steamy moments, thus the 18+ warning.

I loved the magic and action running through the book and especially Vinna's ability to conjure weapons from nothing. The last few chapters flew by as I raced through to find out what was going on. The half unexpected twist at the end choked me and I shed quite a few tears before being disappointed that the story was over and I would have to wait for the next book.

It's a MMMFMM polyamorous series. If that's not clearly tagged somewhere. The story was really good. But this is the first book in the series and it reads like you need to read all the books in order.

I really like the writing style. Very realistic and to the point with a pinch and a dash of humour here and there. I love the lead character, Vinna. There's no need to tell you what the story is about as it's all in the synopsis. There are few twists and turns in here but I'll let you discover them yourself as it's all part of the joyous journey of the read.

Do give this series a chance. It'll worth your time, money and bookworm love 👏😍🌟

Oh my gosh! I went into this a little dubiously but I was bored and looking for a new book to sink my teeth into. And I got freakin railroaded....in a good way!!

This whole series was mind blowing and addictive and awesome and I read all four books in a week. I just loved everything, from the storyline, to the characters, to the totally and correctly labeled badass female lead. I loved this whole series so much, I literally want to reread it and I’ve only just finished!

This will be read over and over and over, I can guarantee you. One of my favourites forever now, five stars is not enough but it’s all they will allow.

I don't normally, but yeah there a part that it you because Vinna our strong, fierce badass fmc never felt love it had a family but we has a friend who towards the end gives her some answers and makes it clear he loved her , she is family. So beautiful and sad at the same time ... I cried.

I could go on and on but honestly, go in blind it's worth it. This series had so much promise and as an RH with guys in their twenties you know it's going to get heated!!!
