The book started well, using a better than average vocabulary, but quickly went down hill with lack of punctuation and improper word usage. The story flopped back and forth from interesting to down right unrealistic and even dumb in places. After trying to read this book over a three day period, I gave up after reading 49% of the story.
I will say in the beginning the history of the treasure and the diving were interesting, and so were the characters. Even though the author explained everything in detail, that didn't take away from the story; just made it wordy. Didn't care for the explicit sex.
Death Drones - After reading Lost Loot of Lima and only able to complete 49% of it, I tried to read Death Drones. I didn't finish the first chapter; I couldn't get into the story and found it silly. I volunteered to review this book and wasn't able to give it my best.
Not particularly in to the drug cartel things or thriller type things in general, but did enjoy this one with all the historical background, scuba diving, boats, and all that, of course added to mystery, lost treasure and treasure hunters.

Kyle and Jenny manage to get under the skin of a cartel after finding the list loot. Plenty of action and every time you think it is over, another crisis looms out of the seas.
Having read the first book as a freebie and enjoying it, I purchased this book and now will have to purchase the next as this is a good series.
