Great Family Movie and Great for Dog Lovers!!!
Verified purchase
I loved this movie. The actors, and storyline were great. I've watched this movie many times and it never gets old. I love how there are, in a way, 2 storylines going... one being the romance and the other being the relationship and growth in between a dog and its owner.

I'm a dog lover. I had a dog for 14 years. She was my best friend. I knew she loved me as much as I loved her. She was very loyal and very protective over me. I was picked on during my school years and going home to my dog...well, she was the medicine that I needed. Since she has passed, I've had 3 cats and they make me smile just as much as my dog did. eventually I want to get another dog.

The bond a person can have with an animal is truly a reward and a gift in its self. This movie reminds me of that and also to never let go of that one true love because it's worth fighting for.

Screen is stretched out so everyone looks weird!
Verified purchase
I wanted to like this movie as I had been waiting a long time for it to come up on the Hallmark Now channel. However I was disappointed to see the screen stretched out making everyone look weird. It was too distracting to watch. It is not because of my computer either as I went back to other movies and they are normal. For some reason just the two newer released movies did this. The premise of the movie seemed like a good one. King is adorable and big. Jana Kramer and Kevin always deliver a great performance. I will report this to Amazon and see if they can get this issue resolved then come back and write a full review. :)

Rather insipid

Clean entertainment. But it's not too interesting. There's nothing in it that grabs your attention. Female lead- no hum. Make lead - no hum. Dog? Better than the people. All overly smiley faces. Lots of money. Fab houses. Giggle. Flirt. Bark.
Tanks just above Candace Cameron Bure in Truth be told, which is the only Hallmark movie I've thrown away.

Cute movie - fantastic price!

We are "Hallmark junkies" in our family and own quite a few. Some are 5-star hits that we want to own at any price. Others are ones we'd watch again and are fun to own if the price is right. I picked this one up for about $5 - totally worth it. I gave it four stars just because for us, it's not a "must-have."

Bought this for my niece. She saw it on the Hallmark channel and loved it. We watched it together and I was very pleased that it was a nice, clean movie.....a movie we could watch together and enjoy.
