I'm not this show's audience, but I love it.
I can say that I'm decidedly not the demographic this show is targeting, but I've had a NUMBER of belly laughs from this train wreck of a show. At times it's more uncomfortable than British humor (the office), and the job by the lead actress is nothing short of brilliant. Not too many shows come out of the chute with the actors hitting their strides from the get go, like they have worked together for years... Unsolicited laughs are the greatest. What a summer gem to brighten those hot nights.

Please Give Us A Second Season! I LOVE this show!
Vanessa Bayer and Molly Shannon sold me! They are mutually miraculous in this zany and touching story of an ambitious former cancer patient who uses her childhood illness to land her dream job with a home-shopping company. The mean boss puts Meryl Streep in "The Devil Wears Prada" to shame, but in the end, like the best series, in the end (almost) everybody turns out to be lovable, and each player's comic timing is perfection. What an amusing, charming, hilarious experience. I could watch it forever. I'll put forth a wish number here: 10 seasons, please, minimum, lol.

Very funny
Seriously the language is too much. (The F word and graphic language) Ruins a pretty entertaining show.

HILARIOUS! Such a great show!
I love this show! It's so witty and heart warming. I simultaneously laugh out loud and cringe at the awkwardness of some of the scenes. So good!

THIS SHOW IS REALLY SAD AND HORRIBLE
Here's this young woman that seems to be emotionally and mentally ill, PRETENDING TO BE PHYSICALLY ILL, trying to make it in life after surviving childhood cancer, and she comes across as extremely damaged and damaging. There is nothing to like about her, as she complained to her parents, other than being entitled cancer girl. Sadly it seems like she may have suffered brain damage from cancer or cancer treatment, or was mentally ill before the cancer. This is not a comedy. I hate cancer and feel horrible for anyone that has to deal with it. Most people have lost someone to cancer and here is this young disturbed woman lying about her condition and using it to deceive people, make money and supposedly live her dream. Wake up and find another dream, girl.

Glad I watched the free episode, so I will never pay to see it. This kind of thing is insulting. I kept hoping there would be a redeeming moment in any character and out of maybe 30 there is one Black guy who seems sincere, hard working and a decent man. Is this show modeled after the trump administration? Most of the characters will say, lie, and do anything to get what they want. I remember when TV shows gave us role models for everyday life situations. These people are role models of immoral and unethical behavior, for criminal behavior, imprisonment, and sad lives.

It's so pathetic, even the mildly humorous situations aren't fun.

I don't understand all the 5 star reviews
To be fair, I only watched the train wreck that was the first episode, so perhaps it gets better after that?? But it was so awful that I in no way felt compelled to watch another episode. Two stars because Molly Shannon is great and her character was well-done. The rest was a disaster. Almost everyone was high-powered and unlikeable (perhaps this is the reality of our culture but not what I want to watch for fun), and I agree with another reviewer who said that the main character had issues that bordered on mental illness. I'd be totally fine with that, except I highly doubt it was intentional, and it certainly wasn't addressed as such. Turning an unaddressed mental illness into comedy that makes the sufferer the butt of its jokes is really not cool. Try the series Work in Progress instead if you want a comedy based around mental illness that is full of compassion and actually worth watching.
