Blog postThis is the first non-Forgotten Universe series I’ve written in two years. I’m really excited about it, because it’s both similar and very different from any of my other work. I think more than anything, it mashes up a lot of elements of my prior books into a new form. I hope you like it!

Our existence hangs by a thread.
On Earth we’re dying - the ships have landed.
On Proxima we’re ignorant - the sabotage nearly complete.
Our strongholds are routed.
Our defenses crippled.
Our wills are broken.
Our hope is gone...
… or is it?
Three heroes.
Two battlefronts.
One desperate chance for victory.

Blog postI screwed up.
I use a software tool called Vellum to build my manuscripts into finished books (both e-book and print). It’s an awesome tool, and it does a great job.
But it isn’t immune from human error, and neither am I.
When I published Invasion, I accidentally ended up with a duplicate of one of the chapters, instead of two individual chapters. So, a chapter is missing. It’s short and not critical to the story, but it is a little jarring to go from one scene to the ne2 years ago Read more -

BOOK 3: Sheriff Duke continues his search for the elusive Colonel. A search that will lead him deeper into his past and a confrontation with a surprising and deadly opponent.
Some things are better off forgotten.
Sheriff Hayden Duke was born on the Pilgrim, and he expects to die on the Pilgrim, like his father, and his father before him.
That's the way things are on a generation starship centuries from home. He's never questioned it. Never thought about it. And why bother? Access points to the ship's controls are locked, the systems that guide her automated and out of reach. Life isn't perfect, but Hayden has all he needs to be content.
Until a malfunction forces his wife to the edge of the habitable zone to inspect the damage.
Until she contacts him, breathless and terrified, to tell him she found a body and it doesn't belong to anyone on board.
Until he arrives at the scene and discovers both his wife and the body are gone.
The only clue? A bloody handprint beneath a hatch that hasn't opened in hundreds of years.
Until now.

The chilling words are the first thing Mitchell hears after an assassin’s bullet nearly ends his life. He tries to ignore them, convinced the voice in his head is a side-effect of his injuries.
It isn’t.
The warning is only the beginning. A glimpse into a struggle against an enemy older than time.
An enemy that’s very real and much closer than he ever imagined.
An enemy that will do whatever it takes to keep him from finding the centuries-lost starship and ending not only the fight but their very existence.
Narrowly escaping capture, Mitchell falls into the hands of the Riggers — a ragtag crew of black-ops commandos who patrol the outer reaches of the galaxy. Guided by a captain with a reputation for murder, they’re dangerous, immoral, and possibly insane.
They may also be humanity’s last hope for survival in a war that has raged beyond eternity.

Series Finale!
The starship Pioneer’s voyage is coming to an end, and it won’t be like anything the passengers or crew could have imagined.
If any of them survive to see it.
Pioneer needs to reach the Forge, but the Forge is surrounded by the enemy’s massive fleet, which is preparing to launch an assault that could leave the station in ruins. Keesha works to repel the attack, mounting a defense she can only hope will keep them all alive.
Light-years away, Joseph and Max have located Preslan and Tyson. While finding them was relatively easy, getting to them won’t be. It’ll take all of their skills and ingenuity to recover the prisoners and escape. Even that might not be enough.
The challenges are mounting. The odds of success decreasing. Time is running out. The passengers and crew of Pioneer are in for the fight of their lives and win or lose, the Universe may never be the same.
Abbey’s recent experiences have changed her, but is it for the better? She’s learned the truth about the Seraphim, and General Kett’s betrayal has left her to wonder if there’s anyone outside of the Rejects she can trust.
When the Nephilim begin their assault on the Republic, and her daughter is caught in the cross-fire, she’ll have no choice but to depend on Captain Mann to do what he can to help. As much as Abbey wants to go home, she has an entire galaxy to protect and a mission whose outcome could determine the fate of trillions:
Find the Keeper.
Restore the Covenant.
Save the Universe.
It's all in a day's work for the Rejects.
Long live the Queen!

She's got the best of motives and the best of intentions, but then again, the road to Hell is littered with both.
It's time to go big or go home, and the Rejects don't have a home.
They'll just have to kick some ass instead.

The journey of the starship Pioneer continues in the fourth thrilling installment of the Forgotten Starship series.
The ship is in dire straits, deep behind enemy lines and on the verge of capture. While Tyson fights to prepare a defense, other forces work to ensure his ultimate failure as they seek to claim one of Pioneer’s few remaining secrets.
Meanwhile, Keesha and the Marines may have captured the enemy Forge, but they have no idea how to bring it under control. Searching for answers, strange echoes from within the station lead Keesha to make a dangerous decision that could cost her everything.
The fight for survival is coming to a head, and it will take all of the strength Tyson, Keesha, John, Tsi, and the passengers and crew of Pioneer can muster to endure the coming storm.
Otherwise, it won’t just mean the end of the colony…
…it will be the end of us all.
A hero forsaken.
A secret revealed.
It wasn’t supposed to be this way. Three days. That’s what they promised. But on Earth the danger is unrelenting, and promises are hard to keep.
Now Sheriff Duke is the one on the run, chased by an unexpected enemy eager to finish what they started. An enemy with an agenda that begins with killing him but ends with something worse.
Much, much worse.
Once the secret is out, the universe will never be the same…
